Kiev 2006-06-20
It finally happened!!! The first Jamiroquai concert in Ukraine! I'm so happy along with the other 5,000 fans who partied down at the concert last night! Yes, the house was packed and nearly everyone was jumping and singing chorus lines along with Jay, who seemed to be a little surprised to see such a reaction in Kiev!
The tracklist was as follows:
Canned Heat
Space Cowboy
Cosmic Girl
Revolution
Little L
Black Crow
High Times
You Give Me Something
Use The Force
Black Capricorn Day
Travelling Without Moving
Love Foolosophy/Main Vein
Time Won't Wait
Alright
Deeper Underground
So we got all the songs from Moscow gig + You Give Me Something
I don't have too many pics, but I can upload some videos a little later.
You guys, it was so amazing!!!!!
Jay congratulated the Ukrainian audience on the Ukraine's 4:0 victory over Saudi Arabia (he's so great, btw). All the musicians were in excellent shape and I'm very grateful to everyone in the band for this concert! JAMIROQUAI ARE THE BEST!!! |

Hmm...YGMS was on the setlist before (remember the US 2005 Tour).
We have only two 'new' tracks: TWM and Black Crow. We've lost Dynamite.
I think it's good they do something different, but removing the best live-track of this tour? Don't get that.
The band can play lots of other tunes, now it's up to Jay to change some things.
Fingers crossed. |

virtual insanity is boring...they're always playing it the same. no big differences in that song. just another story, stillness in time and travelling without moving are the songs that i prefer. |

WYGL would be fantastic, or at least any other from EOPE, besides revolution. I don't specially like YGMS being added to the list, but black crow is great! |

Nice setlist!
But we've lost 'Dynamite'!!! It was such a great song to hear live!
Anyway, Black Crow and Travelling Without Moving sounds like accurate choices, don't you think?
Congrats on the show freeetz!

it was really great live! and no DGHAC either, it seems more like the GH tour rather than DY tour.. |
