Occupation (i.e. Jobs)
Just curious what everyone does for work

I'm a Senior Expeditor for General Dynamics C4 Systems (military communications systems/weapons guidence systems)

I expedite all materials needed to build all the systems we make. Not crazy about the type of employer I have but can't afford to be choosey with a family to support.

I'm a fitted kitchens salesman. Basically, I have to visit a house that needs a new kitchen and talk them into having a kitchen from us. Ofcourse I get paid more if I sell more, so there is pressure involved Twisted Evil

I drive about 100-200 miles a day from one place to another. Its a good job but you have to think about it in the best way to enjoy it. I get 10% of what the kitchen costs, and our kitchens usually cost £6000-7000, and I sell about 2 per week, which is good money, but in January we'll get a lot more business. (and more business=more money for me Smile )

BTW, I drive a Mondeo 2.5 Ghia X and have a SatNav inside Cool. The Mondy is the best Razz

Hmmm now that all depends! Some days my mind is on another planet balla balla & my job bores me rigid (I work in accounts by the way 2expressionless) & other days I get this sad grown up feeling called satisfaction from a good day's work achieved & problems solved! I like the people I work with but the one drawback is too much work, & underpaid for it!! 2banghead 2biting bigeye

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Very Happy Whoa, hehe, well, yours truly works as a chef in a mildly popular restuarant called "Fox & Hounds British Pub" Very Happy. Worked there for about 11+ years, used to serve nothing but British specialities (I.E. Fish & Chips, Steak & Kidney Pie, Ploughman's Dinner, etc.), but our new owner reverted back to a 50/50 mix of Americana cuisine (I.E> Steaks, Burgers, Seafood, Pasta, etc.). I like my job, like a "extended family" there, it's a "Bill Job"....Wink pays the bills Wink! Smile Thanks to everyone for sharing your job experience, very cool stuff Smile! Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Hi there guys,

Long time, no Jtalk, hehe. It's been quit a while ago since I wrote a message and when I'm gonna explain what occupation I have, you'll understand the fact why I don't have so much time to come here anymore:

My occupation is graphic designer, this is a job I do on mondays till friday 09.00 - 17.00 hrs
and on friday and saturday I'm playing the tunes as a DJ in a club in Zoetermeer named Subliem! from 23.00 - 03.00 hrs.
I've got this job since a few weeks and finally it's a PAID!!! DJ-JOB! Before I used to play the tunes in a club which was on volunteer-base. So I'm very pleased to do this as a paid job!

So whenever you're in Holland, check my home-town and come and get a drink at the club Subliem!

xXx Adidas a.k.a. DJ Miss Deedy

PS this thursday I have a very special gig, I'm gonna spin tha wheel for 2.500 ppl!!!! FREAKYYYYYYYYYYYY

Haha FRA: I met him a few weeks ago in the city I live now. He lives ther too. But again: NO CAMERA with me Embarassed

So when I see him again, I hope it will be when I'm in tha club, 'cos there is a camera which I can take that picture with.

AND GOOOOOOOOD HE LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE JK!!! Even my friend (who doesn't like Jk at all, I didn't knew there where ppl who didn't like him, haha) sais it too. She thinks he's the right type for me!
Only he's a bit shy......I kissed him in a drunken mood..ooops....and turned all red!!!! He didn't knew how to react, hehe. Well, maybe in the future, who knows!
