**Canned Heat**
I often come on here and have something to say random, but don't want to create a new topic for it and it also doesn't fit in with anything else. So, I am creating this topic to be the home for just random stuff that is on your mind, or just to say what type of day you are having...basically, say anything (within guidelines  ) that you need to get out. Whether it be mad, sad, glad or bad. Get it off your mind, Speak your mind!!
Just use this space for expression of how you feel, and the best part of this topic is - nothing is OFF TOPIC.
I just think something like this is necessary. Hope you guys dig it! Enjoy

Everyone comes to me to plan work parties, but I really hate doing it!

I like parties but not the loud and the wild ones. I like the ones where I can just sit back and chill.

So far people seem to have focused on the negative things!!! I found it very hard to concentrate on my work this afternoon. My office is having air conditioning installed & I had one of the engineers on the ladder RIGHT next to my desk. Pleasantly, but also distractingly! he was young, gorgeous, tanned & wearing shorts!! I didn't know where to look. Well actually I did know where to but wouldn't really have been appropriate!!!

I have no problem planning parties here and there, but at our work we celebrate EVERYTHING..so it's a party like every other day. It's cool - I'm happy they trust me to throw a bangin' party!
Yvie - Is your job hiring? Just kidding!
I also want to note that this thread is both for the good and the bad. Anything you want to ask, anything you want to let everyone know..an accomplishment, a feeling...anything that will make you feel better by expressing...let it go  Don't let the thread die, we all have stuff we want to say.
And with that note, I say that I am done cooking dinner and goodnight!

Good topic to start... seriously. I had something similar to it like a year ago on here http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1758
but it's good to get one started back up.
For the people in here that work, do any of you have bosses, supervisors, managers that make all the decisions but have the least amount of insight and experience to make those decisions? Besides the fact that I hate my schedule (I work nights), and that I don't get paid enough (But I might be getting $4,000 from them in November so I need to stay), is my bosses are really f'd up in the head.
I work in a warehouse and I work nights. The managers at my work, sit in their office all DAY, don't spend anytime with us at NIGHT, sit behind their computers, and make decisions for us from there. So instead of getting input from the people who work in the warehouse every minute of everyday, they just go off and do what they want without even getting our opinion on things. It makes things difficult for us.
Before I hear "they're probably making decisions that save the company $$$", it's a lot of things that have nothing to do with that, and a lot of their decisions are costing the company efficiency.
But most of all... they all have this aura about them that they are always "right", and the stupid little pee-on warehouse worker doesn't know shit... I'm going to college to maybe one day become a manager or lead some people. My bosses now have tought me more than ever to listen to the opinions of the people I lead to not only make the best decisions possible, but also to gain their respect.

Oh Pete - I would have just bumped up that one..my bad!
Anyway, this morning while getting the cake for the party I have to throw today, I saw the most beautiful man I think I have ever seen in my life.
Lord....he was cute from the side and then he turned around and I saw his eyes. I almost dropped the cake. I had to get the girls at the bake counter to come out and see him.
....and he had a wedding ring on.
Oh well, nothing wrong with window shopping!
