RUNAWAY - the new single
Hello Jamirotalkes,
As we read at funkin, the Greatest Hits will be released on November 13th (4 months away), and the new single (name?) was presented to a number of people at a conference for Sony BMG.
My question for all of you is... will you download illegaly the new track(s) or you'll wait until the release?, cause there are only 2 new tracks and is not worth to spoil them in such short time 
I'm going to wait. At most, I'll hear only 30 seconds and stay with that until hits the radios hehe

 Hello,
Hehe, there's always naughty temptation (I fight this off nearly everyday online!) to download new stuff, but I will probably pay download the GH when it gets offered, but definitely NOT through Apple ITunes, they won't be flexable enough to share their encoding info with other MP3 player makers so their MP3s will play on their players, in addition to Apple ONLY players . My core hope this that these Pay Download services smarten up to offer new music on their services in par with the potential leak happen, that is what I REALLY want to happen or evolve to a modest level. But, as all leaks go, I will evidently hear it by accident SOMEWHERE, till then, I will sit on my clickable fingertips! Laters!

ahahaha , o'rly? and why? you can do the same with vinyl that you can do with cd , you can rip a vinyl!
and then share the songs

..before to laughing, tell me if u know how to rip a vinyl.. probably it's because u think it's so simple..
..do u know what is a vinyl?.. and do u have a turntable?..

I think Iif the single apears on the net a week before the g hts release, I'll wait.... but if it a pears in the next weeks I'll download it and thenwhen the g. hits is released I'll buy it... after all I'm making some kind of "equilibrium"
and it is not hard to rip a vinyl, there are a lot of vinyl rips, I don't have the equipment to play a vinyl, but a friend did it with some old vinyls. |

Being fans, I think it's not very important if we download illegaly the track or not. The reason is simple : a "normal fan" will surely buy the album.
I don't see an enormous difference to listen to the track about one-two weeks, before the release.
BUT, it doesn't mean that I'll download illegaly the track, I don't know yet  |

have lots of vinyls in home , and 2 turntables! (1 portable , and 1 in the hi.fi)
but to rip , u will need :
# a turntable
# an stereo amplifier
# a recording lead
should i have to explain all the steps to rip one vinyl?
and the software...
i didn't said it was simple , but if you want to rip it , you just do it , nothing is impossible

i have a poll in other place about if all is gonna buy or not buy the GH album by the way... 
about download of the songs, i only download videos...no more 
if i request songs is because they are b-sides, live songs or rare songs...
i cant wait to listen the songs  
well, the GH can be my birthday gift, looks alike

..that's ok.. nothing is impossible, but probably my provocation was not understood.. what i wish to explain was that there are a lot of threads saying different ways to fight piracy. Then, I know my proposal is 'out of time' (vinyl is only for deejays or collectors), but if Sony, Virgin or all the other Companies will try to think that a possible answer it's in what they are killing, probably there are no so many politicies against the illegal diffusion of digital audio.. it's the format, not the music.. try to think about..
and i'm sure that together with EvoV we'll do a tutorial for create your music from vinyls, from cassettes, from minidiscs, from super8..
