I bought it yesterday. Here in italy you can find the maxi single which is identical to the UK version with the "inlude Grant Nelson's massive remix" blue sticker. Well I'm actually really frustrated as you know I live in Australia and I went to 2 places today to get Runaway as it was meant to be released last Sat (28 Oct) and none of them knew about Runaway - one guy from a Music Store actually called up Sony BMG Australia to double check and the Sony guy didn't know anything about it, saying that the GH is coming out this Sat (4 Nov) but didn't know about Runaway (they said maybe I 'heard' it on the radio and presumed it was going to be a single) - they said maybe they might release a single but not in the next fortnight. Anyway I'm just darn frustrated as I want to support the band but it's pretty hard when I can't buy the single anywhere and Sony BMG didn't even know about Runaway coming out as a single - ggggrrrrrr!!!!!! Have any other Aussies had any trouble like me???? SAMANTHA _________________

yep, that's right - I got the swat team in to take care of them Honestly, the guy at the music store said to me 'no I think youre wrong, youve got the wrong date' and I'm like 'I dont think so' - I was in there for over 10 minutes - its just frustrating as I sound like a looney bin in there saying that I know for sure that it's being released and then I get the speech of 'well just because its released in the UK now doesnt mean its released in Australia now' - ggggrrrrr SAMANTHA _________________

YUP! I have had all sorts of gettin' the 'Runaround' about this... i also had the same problem when i went into a music store. They checked their computers, checked with Sony BMG and couldn't come up with anything at all... seriously frustrating..

I ended up ordering the 'High Times - The Singles DVD' online from JB's... It'll be delivered to my door around 6th Nov, all for $24.95! i'm pretty happy with that, considering all the other dead ends i've hit... 2banghead

Correction, i should receive it around 13th November - I've no idea where i got the 6th from! (wishful thinking, i suppose)

14/11, is the official Realease here in Argentina. when Synk, AFO and Dynamite were released, Little L and FJLS were released to, so maybe we could find it......if not go to Cinema records, "Galeria Jardin", florida street, they always have good stuff from jmqi......tomorrow maybe i'l go. If i find something i'll tell you.

I get that sort of thing ALL the time! And not just for music either. Salespeople don't seem to know squat these days.

I haven't seen the single in any stores yet either. The line I got dealt in Sanity yesterday was "sorry, we don't sell singles anymore" Exclamation

and then she tried to sell me a digital copy off this bloody computer kiosk thing (which Runaway wasn't even on!) - I was like WTF is this sh!t!!!

Sony even has the single release date on their website http://www.sonymusic.com.au/news/details.do?newsId=20030829003686 - Retards!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one this is happening too It all seems well for the GH album & DVD - I've seen them on Sanity/JBHi-Fi websites and the guy at the music store said that he's getting them in on Fri night for Saturday release - which is good news as I can go and guy both of them on Sat - but you'd think Sony would know if a single is going to be released. Also, I was watching VH1 the other night (I think it was Thurs night) and low and behold they were playing Runaway - so it's on the TV here (I'm not sure about the radio as I play CDs in my car) - but just amazes me that, like you said, Sony don't have any idea if/when a single is coming out - I even gave the music store guy the funkin.com website and told him to check it on there as that's pretty much the official fan website that works in conjunction with Jamiroquai in the UK. I just feel bad for the band as I'm sure there are others out there that want to buy the single, yet we can't as we don't have any idea where to get it from, so it means the band suffers as no one buys the single SAMANTHA _________________

Yep, the videos been on Rage on Friday night for the last few weeks, which is usually a good sign a single is due out soon - although if I remember right they also did the same for (D)GHAC and it never ended up getting a release out here.

I was under the impression that, if you pre-ordered "Runaway" via the official site, you would receive a poster. Well, my order of 1 vinyl and 2 cd singles arrived today and, er...no poster Am I the only one?
