Favorite Digeridoo song?
What is everybody's favorite song with the Digeridoo? I love WYGL, especially the extended version, but my favorite is a song that is actually only performed live. I'm not sure of the title, but I think it's OUR TIME IS COMING.
The first line is: "Long-haird hippees with their hair(?) so black, get together across the track and party all night long."
What is the real name of this song, and what are your favorites?

so OUR TIME IS COMING is the real name of the song I'm thinking of? I thought it was, but I'm looking for confirmation. |

I love our time is coming also, but I had to go with journey to arnhemland.
Oh, and thanks for the lyrics! I thought it was " I said a Lon hay hibby and a haffa back get together to cross the track and we partied all night long". It really sounds like that.... I was close... _________________

Hahahaha! I THINK those lyrics are right. They're pretty close, anyway. I've had to learn Jay's way of saying things. I don't read the lyrics, I just learn them from listening over and over. I also do a pretty good impression of his voice, so I've listened to it a lot. |

Thanks for checking behind me, smellbob!
Let's trade sometime. Maybe there's something I have that you don't. Probably not. |

my fave is WYGL, you can seriously hear the didge 'talk' in that song. but in terms of ingenuity, i think Supersonic gets my vote. really revolutionizes the whole didge vibe. man, can i vote for both? |

i VOTED for "when you gonna learn" (all the other songs are just as a gr88, esp. "our time is coming"!). this song kicks ass with the digeridoo playing such, a pivotal part! makes the song sound very unique and different & sounds even B*E*T*T*E*R, on the J.K mix, too.
the digeridoo, itself has become such a good balancer/element, in jami songs....which leads me on to my question........are there any songs on the AFO album/in general, which you think the digeridoo could have been successful?
ciao.

Didgeridoo classics...
Hello everyone, :bm_r:
Ah, yes, kickass, the first new poll of 2003, and a good pick for a topic too ! It was hard to pick my favorite Jamiroquai Didgeridoodoo Offering that embodied the ancient instrument...so.. ..I pick
"Journey to Armhemland"! I was going to sidle up to "Our Time Is Coming", but I picked "Journey" cause I can't drive anywhere without this great tracks kicking up whirlwinds on my car speakers! *NOTE TO COSMICMOUSE, OR WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF CREATION OF JAMIROTALKICONS* It's about time their was a Didgeridoo emoticon, something of small emoticongoodness to honor it! Thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse and Bear! Peace and take everyone!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
Major respect to the originals!!!

well...
songs that would sound good with didgeridoo:
use the force
wolf in sheep's clothing
planet home
destitute illusion
space cowboy
stillness in time
corner of the earth
2001
cosmic girl
high times
hooked up
emergency on planet earth
and jamirofan, this was a great didge picture, better than all the ones I have! _________________

wow jamirofan, that's a gr888 picture of digeridoo. that digeridoo is very different from the other ones i've seen, in terms of the different patterns & the actual length of the instrument (i've seen longer ones!). thank you, me dear! P.S where'd you get that picture from?
ciao.
