'Runaway' promotional video
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I was wondering, what are you expecting to see on the next video? Something funny? The band playing the song? For me, I would say an artistic video á la Space Cowboy / Virtual Insanity.

well, i would really love to see concert video footage for this video..of the guys and the audience. the candid shots like people in line..people RUNNING to the front, singing along, derrick and sola warming up...all of that - kind of like my favorite video - HIGH TIMES!

i also have this vision of jay running down a road and passing his past along the way. his past from the beginning starting with the construction of jamiroquai in south ealing or even going way back to when he used to travel with his mom. like he'd be running and passing these things on the road...and at the end of the run he'd end up on a concert stage and it'd just pan out and show a shadowing of him bowing to the audience...like to say THANK YOU for all the years. even having his friends toby and stu on the road....or maybe even showing highlights from the past videos and tv appearances on the side of the road as he runs.
or even better if they did that all in reverse starting with the concert and then ending with a little boy as him watching his mom put on make up for one of her shows.
something like that.... 
i'm a dork and tired!

 Hello,
 Very lovely and imaginative Sister Deesh, that would be so great . But I think, as retrospective as the past Jami video for IILIIDI was for the EOPE era of the band, they should do one long compilation of Jamiroquai's 15 years of touring footage and promo videos that ends to a new video of JK and the band proudly walking into the sun from the Sony/BMG logo. That is what I would really like to see for this video, I mean, would JK want to sit through another 'Sony headed, organized and in charge' last video shoot for this new video? I don't JK would want to do this, but whatever is done, I'm sure it will be the perfect bookmark to end their stellar career with this label. Thanks for listening and Peace!

mmm maybe something like jay and the band sitting in front of a tv, watching like a 'compilation' or the 'evolution' of the band, from EOPE to GH.. watching some of the videos, shows, the past bandmembers..
or, maybe the same idea, but instead of watching all that in a tv, in a photo-book (like those family photo albums the grandmas have, with old pictures of the whole family )
uh ok, now that wouldn't seem like a jami video, would it??  |

Uhm, dunno why but i think that "Runaway" is a sort of an autobiographic track with a JK running away the bad lines of his life towards something better: like a spiritual rebirth.
I hope the video will be made of some kewl special effects.

well, even if i dont listen the song yet...i have a idea for the video...
first scene-jay kay get out of his home faster in his enzo...and a minutes after that he comes to a party where he meet some fans and finally after that he go to the stage and the band start to play...and the video ends with a joke of derrick about clothes in a bar close to the place where the show was made...
obviusly the bands play all the video live,...that's what i can call
a piece of art...i wish i could be a video director

hehe i have one idea
its not great...
well jay goes into a club with beautiful girls
than he want to dance with them but no girl want to dance with him^^
but theres one 300 kilogramms woman she comes to jay and shake everything she has than jay runs away out of the club to the next one and its the same ....
at the end one woman sits on him and the video ends and you can read:
dont you want to run away?
