Sexual Songs*done - thanks :)
Hello everyone -
I’m doing a project with my students and I need a listing of songs that are sexual, or have a strong sexual meaning. Not so much ‘I love you, blah, blah, blah’, but more ‘Let’s get it on’ type songs…I mean, they can be romantic, but songs that lead more to or talk about the actual act. They are going to be breaking down the lyrics of these songs and using them in some of their studies. I want to assign 4 -5 songs to each group of students, and am trying not to repeat songs....Doesn't matter what genre or time period the songs come from.
Just list as many as you can think of from now until Friday – 8/18/06.

I'm assuming since you actually put it in inverted commas that you've already got 'Let's Get It On' on your list, Deesh, so others I can think of...
- Anything at all by Barry White, George Michael, or as Anna has said, Prince.
- Outkast, 'Hey Ya!' - and indeed most of the tracks on 'The Love Below'.
- That rubbish 'Sex On The Beach' by some appalling pop act a couple of summers ago.
- Queen's 'Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy'. Would also link in nicely with your AIDS work...
- Just about any song ever in which George Clinton gets a co-writing credit.
- Jhelisa's 'Friendly Pressure'... sort of...

I would say Would You Mind is probably the raunciest sex song she ever did. If you check out the live video version of the song you get a pretty good idea.
