Hey guys, question. How do you play .mpc files? I downloaded Winamp and I downloaded the .mpc plugin at the j-live site and it's still not working. I keep getting only the 'save to disk' option when it should have the option of winamp playing it. Any help would be great!

I advice you to use Foobar2000, the best player.

Alright, so here I am to try and stump everyone on the .mpc issue. I use a Apple and have spent literally HOURS trying to find a media player for. Any suggestions? |

Here's a tip for all Mac users.
There's a little application called mpc2aiff, which -- as the name suggests -- converts mpc files to uncompressed aiff files. Then you can convert the aiff files to whatever you like in iTunes (e.g. mp3, aac).
http://homepage.mac.com/julifos/soft/mpc2aiff/index.html
Hope this helps |

I use Cog to play MPC-files (and other "odd" formats) on my Mac. It works perfectly.

If you don't care too much about keeping the mpc files then you can convert them (and lots of other files after inatlling the neccesay plugins/codecs) by using DB Poweramp |

Yes, Cog is also good for playback, it also plays .flac files... I just prefer to organize all my music in iTunes if possible and then a conversion is necessary
Best regards,
