I'd have loved to see the release of a doubel GH cd, since it'd include all the singles (maybe some rarities) and make everyone happy. I understand though that a double cd is much harder to ''sell'', considering that not many people are willing to spend twice as much money on a band, especially if they're not too familiar with it. I can see why so many fans are upset, since TROTSC seems to be many people's favourite album. It's not mine, so the tracklist didn't bother me, but I understand their feelings. I do think though that the inclusion of more tracks from some albums than from others might lead non Jami fans to think that certains cds are ''better'' than others.
Well, even if the tracklisting isn't perfect, at least we'll be getting two new songs. That's what I'm looking for anyway! We can all burn our own personal GH collection at home. |

the timings are the same as the already released tracks....so...what about those "retouched" songs? no different esdits, demos, or new versions apparently....maybe they have added/changed any instrumentation??? _________________

So, no Revolution 1993 video on the DVD, and no bonus mystery 20th track on the CD. I told you all it was just play.com being stupid with their typing, didn't I?
Bastards. Getting our hopes up like that.

Hear, hear...
I'll still buy the CD (with bonus remix CD) and DVD though... and possibly the Japanese release depending on the DVD bundled with it.
I really wish the remixes bonus CD would have the MAW 12" Live Mix of EOPE rather than the London Rican Mix. It's the best remix ever! I only have it on my vinyl promo and I'd love a flawless digital copy. There was a CD promo with EOPE mixes in the UK, but finding that one has proven to be a mission impossible. _________________ Old school forever! |

I was going to get the UK CD release because of the mystery 20th track, but if that's not there then I think the Japanese release is a better bargain because it will have Half the Man as well. |

I'm a bit offtopic here, but...
I know what you mean about the 12" Live mix - it's a great version. Although, it's almost not like a remix at all, and no-one knows it compared to the Rican Mix. It sounds more like a reworking they could've done in the studio back then. It's very organic, don't you think? _________________

Yeah. I know what you mean. It's very organic and it sure does sound like it could have been a reworked alternative studio recording by the band rather than a remix. I just love it. How can you not?
Edit: I'm listening to it right now... Man do I wish it was longer. Much longer. This track definitely deserves to be officially released. MAW deserve it. The fans deserve it. _________________ Old school forever! |

EOPE 12"Live mix It's the one starting with (4 bars each line):
keyboard

keyboard+wha effects+more effects
keyboard+wha effects+more effects+percussions
keyboard+wha effects+more effects+percussions+AMAZING BASS LINES
...then drums...
then...oh my god!!!!!!
Yes the fans deserve it but it's not for the masses and it wont be in the release _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |
