RUNAWAY - Radio Debut
 Hello,
 Inbetween all of what seems neverending news about the "High Times" Greatest Hits Compilation, Bonus Remix CD and now DVD, I spotted the following at Funkin, get your Internet audio recorders ready for Monday! :
Jamiroquai.com has announced that the world exclusive first play of Runaway will be on Monday 18 September. They write....
Get ready for Runaway - Monday 18 September
On Monday 18 September, Runaway, the forthcoming single from Jamiroquai will have its world exclusive first play on UK radio. ILR (Independent Local Radio) stations are set to play the single at around 8:15am.
If you're a BBC Radio 1 addict, then you'll have to wait until the Scott Mills show in the afternoon to hear the track.
Come back on Monday and we'll also have links to hear the single online. Stay tuned to Jamiroquai.com as we have lots of news and exclusives to share with you over the coming days and weeks...
This is EVEN MORE EQUATIONAL GREAT NEWS! Is anyone going to record this off UK Radio? If so, please let us know in a reply to this topic, I am shaking at the thought that we will hear the studio version of this "Time Won't Wait" quality new Jami song in less than 3 days! this was already mentioned in another topic about runaway, but it's cool.. we can post here while hearing it synchronized altogether and tell how we liked it!!
(if it is possible to hear it live, outside the uk - have to find it out still!!)

Don't know about the local radio network at 8:15, but you'll all be able to hear the Radio 1 playing of it in the afternoon, at www.bbc.co.uk/radio1.

Sometimes I catch the Scott Mills show here in the states on SIRIUS channel 10 (maybe 11) because they now air BBC Radio 1. Can't wait |

I'm not going to, but that's purely because I'm buggered if I'm going to get up at 8 in the morning when I don't have to, just to hear a song I'll know off by heart in a month or so anyway (and will be able to hear later on that day when I'm out of bed!).
If I, like a fair few of you, was one or two hours ahead (and therefore if it was going to be broadcast at 9:15 or 10:15 'my time'), I probably would. But not at 8:15. Even if I wanted to, I can't take anything in properly at that time in the morning anyway...
