technicolor cover
don't you think it would be good though?
great cover, just a few slight changes
or even a morph of buffalo men?
however - i do like the official cover and im sure there's a logo on it somewhere no doubt _________________

i like the cover.
it instantanely reminded me to planet of the apes!
the buffaloman is maybe missing but in fact, this hat is also the logo of jamiroquai (at least for the las eras and last two albums), the buffaloman was jays silouette with an iroquoi medicineman hat, this hat is just a futuristic indian chef hat so both represent jamiroquai.
it's ok with me

I second that.
The hat has been there in the last 3 albums, counting this one.

I think the cover is well chosen. A beautiful pic, that gives your mind many possible thoughts about nature, time, beginning and end....
For me it just fits to the long period with good Jamiroquai music and hits
I don't miss the buffalo man on the cover....it will be somewhere, like Dyego said, and the buffalo man will never die.
Already since the A funk Odyssey the album covers were without Buffalo man on front. May be a coincidence with the change of music. A change not everyone likes. We already had that discussions in many other topics...
But I have favourite songs on each album so far and I don't need the buffalo man on every album...
Anyway more essential than the outside is the music for me _________________

I'm not missing it a lot, the last 3 albums had the hat in the cover, it seems like is the new "logo" for J.

I agree too. Maybe the new fans (from AFO) think first about of the hat first and after of the buffalo man |

This artwork looks VERY stylish, but I still haven't come up with an explanation
Something makes me think it's Jay in the reflection, not the photographer. |

Totally agree with you there monisum. I love the cover, and although I had my reservations over the lack of the buffaloman, you've hit the nail on the head, it will be on there in some form or other.
Awesome, cool, downright class cover! |

This album artwork stands out from all of its predecessors...it's easy on the eye, yet an element of mystery draws you in!
Speaking from a photographic point of view...it has been shot beautifully. The content is symbolic of so many things, most of which have already been mentioned!
Put simply...it's perfect!

I realy like the cover. But I probably would have liked it just as much if the hat wasn't there. I just like these kind of pictures. They have a certain rawness but at the same time it oozes peacefullness ...
Personally I would have preffered a buffaloman on the front maybe the SYNK mirror would have worked good with the sand and the rocks |

I like it instantly. Very stylish!
Somebody said they shoud've let the fans design the cover for this. This was actually done by Janet Jacksons new album. There's an official cover and she's picking out fan creations for special edition release of her album. I know you couln't care less about janet here but it would have been a good idea for Jamiroquai too because I see a lot of creative bootleg covers everywhere. _________________ Now we did it once, can we do it again?

agree with this...we have some creative heads around here...sometimes they seem to put more heart and work into it than the ones who get paid for it _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

Cosmic I see what you mean. I just thought something like "throwing his hat far away - like something ended (well actually it did)" (ah I cannot translate it well into English, sorry. It's quite sad if you look longer at it, don't you think?
Anyway, I think it is a brilliant artwork and I love it.
The only thing that I dislike, is that there are three different type fonts (?). Two different would have been enough (Jamiroquai in it's old type and the rest in one, but anyway.) |
