ALL tracks HAVE BEEN remastered, they all sound different according to this detail:
GENERAL to all tracks:
Jay's voice and chorus are louder
First four tracks heavely modified (Stu's bass lines are down)
The rest are only shorter, with light changes only
WYGL: less didgeridoo
TYTD: Very Short version.
BYM: the outro, was not included (SNIFF!!, my all-time jami fav)
EOPE: The video Version (re-mixed)
SC: Radio Edit (video version) the bass line, nearly can't be heard.
VI: the intro is out, (starts with uhuuuu), short version
CG: Violins are louder than normal, bass again is down
Alright: no intro, slightly shorter version
HT: Starts as Video version; WITH "last night" samples, ends as normal.
DU: couldn't hear any changes so far
CH: radio edit, no changes
LL: radio edit, only light changes.
LF: no changes.
COTE: radio edit, no changes (I think that it shouldn't have been included... but, there it is)
FJLIS: intro different, new instrumental break (5 seconds only) new ending.
7DISJ: no changes (jay's voice is really loud here)
DGHAC: short version, remixed
Runaway: Same as video, little longer.
Radio: "You´re making love to me in stereo" really nice track, looks like it's been taken from between AFO and Dynamite.

That "unreleased bonus track" was an error made by play.com... it doesn't exist. _________________ Old school forever! |

Well, um, welcome to the forum, first of all. And thanks for this brief rundown... don't worry, those of us who might have wondered won't be pestering you to send it to us.
When you say the 'last night' samples in High Times do you mean the 'Last night changed it all!' backing vocals at the end of each stanza of chorus (the reason I don't know is that I got rid of all the tracks bar Radio after downloading the album)? If so I'd be prepared to buy the thing just for that, I love that version but it's not on the UK release of TWM...
Not too hot on some of the other modifications you say have been made, but I guess they were only ever going to go with the 'recognised' single edits anyway, so it's nothing I'll be losing sleep over.
One last question... when you say:

Which do you mean? They're two different versions of the track...

The Space Cowboy version on this album is the one where he is dancing around the room. Not the same one as the one on the Space Cowboy album. I personally preferred the other version, but oh well. :/
After listening to most of the songs on the album,I don't really like the modifications made to many of the songs...but I will say that Radio is a pretty catchy song. The bass on the chorus is outstanding. _________________ Just play my tune... |

after checking it, the version is just like the video (same lenght too, I think)
It does include the word "cheeba", whre it was taken out in some previous versions. |

Hi again Nighthawk, thanks for the answers - I liked them all! Odd that they've chosen the video version of SC but I guess they wanted to give something to us fans who only knew the band afterwards and were too lazy to track down our own copies of the singles.
Ah no, this is Sony, isn't it, they don't want to give anything to the fans... so, odd that they've chosen the video version of SC.

When we see the lenght of all tracks... we can see that these are "radio edits" known before... In my opinion, no suprise...
The songs are probably remastered, but I think there is no difference about the lenght... These are the same versions. _________________ My Jamiroquai Website --- http://j.live.free.fr/
