GROOVELINE presented by Stephen Howie
Hi there!
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all about a good friend of mine, Stephen Howie. He's a guy who has THE most impeccable taste in music and has concentrated it all into a radio show named Grooveline.
Grooveline is live each Friday from 2pm till 4pm (GMT+1) and is repeated every Sunday night at midnight till 2am (GMT+1). Saturday Grooveline is live each Saturday (excluding next Saturday) till the end of August from 1pm till 4pm(GMT+1).
For people living in/around Reading, UK, you can listen on 1386 kHz AM.
To the majority of you, you can listen online. The address is : http://www.blast1386.com/. Once you're there, just click on "Listen Live".
To contact him or send a song request when he is live, just click on "Request or Email".
It's simply unmissable!

Hey Claire -
I was just looking around there, it looks so familiar to me..Anyway, do you know if the shows are archived?, like his can be played any hour of the day or do you have to catch them at that specific time?
It sounds like something I'd really dig.
Thanks, Dee |

Hey Deesha!
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm afraid to say that the shows are not archived. However, you can view the playlists of every show he has presented and details of the forthcoming show by following this link : Grooveline Playlists
I know you'd really love the music he plays!

I am listening to this past weekend's show at work, and he just said,
"...Welcome to any new listeners as a result of Claire's wonderful posting on the Jamirotalk website..."

Grooveline is a little gem of a radio show and I felt it deserved some recognition in a place where people know good music...where better than Jamirotalk?!
My congratulations go out to Stephen as this Friday's show will be the 100th edition! If you haven't already, please tune in...you'll be delighted with the playlist!

Hey!
Good news! Stephen has just launched a brand new website :

If anyone has not yet heard Grooveline for themselves, I really recommend you visit the website and listen to future shows...you'll be so glad you did!

CLAIRE ***
Was listening to this week's show and you did a lovely job reporting on the Incognito Jazz Cafe concert. Although Stephen has some technical difficulties, the wait was well worth it!
I am so proud of all you are doing. You sounded so professional and full of life. Keep it up and let us know when you will be on Grooveline again, so we can all tune in!

Deesha,
It's a joy to hear that you tuned in to this week's Grooveline!
The technical difficulties that occurred during the first half of the show were unfortunate, but I'm eternally grateful to Stephen for his perseverance in getting the problem sorted out and allowing me to voice my enjoyment of Incognito's recent Jazz Cafe performance. At times, my nerves let me down and I faltered, but I managed to say everything I had intended. It means so much to me to know that you were listening.
As always, Thank You for your lovely words and positive vibes
