[04 NOV 2006] - Strictly Come Dancing
the official site has announced jamiroquai will be guests on the bbc one show - Strictly Come Dancing on Sat 4th Nov at 5.30pm and 9.30pm.
It is a celebrity dancing competition for people who are not in the U.K and not familiar with it and Jamiroquai will be performing in the second half of the show more likely.
Jamiroquai.com says they will be doing a song - Runaway more likely or if were lucky - Radio???
the bad news about this is previously on this show groups have mimed so it could be that dreadful backing track once again!!

Hello,
Hmm, could Jamiroquai actually stand performing live as some "wanna-be" dancers move badly to their brilliant music ? Hehe, I think it's a good idea, get more attention to their GH compilation, I mean, the Scissor Sisters just recently did this on the American version of "Dancing With The Stars" by performing 2 songs on the show. Good news find, Brother Russky, much appreciated ! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

yep your right there brother brent, they have actually done well pushing this new single at last. Strictly come dancing will have a massive prime time audience and they have already been on Ant n Dec, so there crammin them in at the moment.
just a pity totp is finished! |

Brent, when they 'play' (if they do play live), it'll be the pros on stage dancing. The competitors only dance to the house band. Who actually aren't that bad... they do swing and tango especially well!

Loved it.
I personally think that was even better vocal performance from Jay than the Jazz Café version!
Shame the dancers had to take some of the attention. |

And now for something completely different...
I've never seen a performance quite like that before! The boys dressed for the occasion, looking very smart in their tuxedos. (Derrick, what did you do with your bow tie?!)
Canned Heat was the appropriately chosen track and to everyone's delight, included a brass section. It was lovely to see Trevor Mires on the trombone once again
Well done Jamiroquai!

Hehe, sounds like it was a good show. Looking forward to seeing if a copy makes it online... _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. I recorded it but no facilities (ie enough intelligence!) to transfer it online.
Not sure when I last saw them all looking so smart though: Jay especially! |

yeh it was, looking dappa and taking the mick by the looks of it!
i think there's a bit of a bond thing goin on there, maybe with links to next weeks interviwew with walliams?
also it appears someone glued him to the stage as he was probably given orders not to leap around as it would take the attention away from the 'pro' dancers! _________________
