Favourite Intros
Okay i used the search thingy but this was done like 2 years ago so im doing it again! University is boring believe me
So what's your favourite intro to a Jamiroquai song?
It doesnt have to be a particular favourite song of yours and it doesnt matter what comes afterwards!
At the moment im loving high times and the whole :"You don't need your name in bright lights you're a rockstar!"
I can sense a big Jazz Cafe influence oncoming |

Space Cowboy- Love the synthesizer at the beginning (at least that's what it sounds like). I'm listening to it now,in fact.
Black Capricorn Day- Just has a REALLY driving and tough sound to it.
The Kids- I love the "HA! Now we're gettin' nasty!!" that Jay says at the start of it. The funky guitar is sweet as well.
Traveling Without Moving- The Ferrari switching gears gets you prepared for a high-octane song.
Do It Like We Used To Do- Fast-paced and reminds me of the 70s the most out of all of Jamiroquai's songs.
Blow Your Mind- Love the futuristic lounge feel to it.
Do You Know Where You're Coming From?-Really soothing and dreamy.
Where Do We Go From Here?-Cool piano and I love the way Jay sings the intro on this one.
Shoot The Moon- Really upbeat and fast-paced. Love it.
Emergency On Planet Earth- Cool synthesizer and guitar.
If I Like It, I Do It- Has a mellow and earthy feel to it.
Dynamite- Love the futuristic sound it has.
Seven Days In Sunny June- Really soothing and outdoorsy.
Runaway- Has a fantasy/dreamy/fairy tale sound to it. Weird, yet cool.
Those are my main ones, really. That's like half the stuff they've done almost. _________________ Just play my tune...

i did think of EOPE 12" Live too, but, with that song, you get 3 minutes of intro and hardly one of actual song! But this version does rock. Really too bad they didn't blend it with the album version to make it a full release, like WYGL JK Mix and the likes... |

Hey you guys,
First of all, GREAT topic!
Secondly, i would have to say that my absolute favorite is this: I don't know what we want to call it, a Use The Force outro or High Times intro but it is that brilliant piece of work they used to do during the TWM tour. I could listen to that for hours, in fact I wrote a whole song based on that 2 1/2 minute tune!! Next would definately have to be the jazzy intro to Blow Your Mind on Wolverhampton '94 and Funky Paradise!! I like the Wolverhampton more simply cos it's a little longer.
