[14 NOV 2006] JMQ on Ken Bruce Show, BBC Radio 2
Hi everyone, I found this today from Funkin...
On Tuesday 14 November Jamiroquai will be performing a live session for the Ken Bruce show on BBC Radio 2. The show is broadcast between 09:30 and midday and can be heard online via the Radio 2 website.
Previous BBC radio sessions, such as the ones from Maida Vale in 2001 and Covent Garden in May 2000, have been well received by fans so here's hoping that the band are on top form and perform some great tracks on the show.
Thanks to: Funkin.com

Im listening to a GREAT version of Travelling without moving, yet again with HORNS !!! How Jamiroquai should be.
He is being interviewed by Ken now.
I do hope that they do not give it all up because of the greed by Sony.

Thanks Zsoma! I don't know why I can't listen to BBC Radio online, but there is always a lovely Jamily member to the rescue _________________

The show is over now, but you should be able to listen again later today once the BBC website has been updated.
It was interesting to hear Jay say that they do not plan to perform / tour again until 2008. This is so they have time to work on new material and put together a new show.
This is a positive thing as it is him that has effectively said there is a future. |

I know, far too long.
But now they have broken from Sony, they can start writting what they and the fans want and put on a performance of music straight from the heart.
Lets hope that the 2008 statement was a ball park date and they crack on with material and plans far sooner. However to put on a large world tour again under self management will be a huge task, both mentally and financially, no big guns to bank roll the production, advertisement etc. |
