Again: no award for Jamiroquai @ Brit Awards...
scream Well, you can read the news at http://funkin.com/news:

Quote:
The Brit Awards took place earlier today (Thursday) in London and after a total of 15 nominations over the years, Jamiroquai have once again failed to win an award. They were nominated in the Best British Dance Act category, which was tonight won by Sugababes. Other acts nominated for this award were Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, and Kosheen.

:'(
Nor did I Meike!

It showed the stars going into the ceremony, doing the old red carpet bit and at the time I was thinking "god, they have to get there early - it's still light"!

The ceremony is always shown at 8pm every year.

I was doing a running commentary on J Talk as well and just popped into your site to give a quick debrief!

Oh well, c'est la vie - the awards suck don't they?

But your emoticon did make me smile a little..and now I am going to find an alchoholic beverage to cheer me up Smile. Crying or Very sad

ohhhh...
Just checked that link.

Well I am glad Coldplay won an award - at least the Brits didn't get that one wrong.

Justin Timberlake is now performing with Kylie, who is looking very nice..Smile

They've just shown the actual best dance act award about 5 minutes ago.

the brits are not live, their transmission is delayed by a few hours this year. Usually theyre shown the next day, I think

Unless people have used other sources (the internet) to find out the winners, no-one would know the winner until now (from the TV)

for the short preview clip, they used a section of the YGMS video.

Take Care

Jamiroquai is tops, that MJ :-O
buffaloman_B Hello, :bm_b:

the blues ......feel the same way Butterfly, but then again, it's good Jamiroquai didn't win, then we would have to deal with more newbie fans who post on J-Talk after listening to "Little L" for the first time. Award shows stink anyway....after the MJ specials, looks like the "who can get MJ first on my award show" auction will begin soon! Poor MJ, must stink to be 2003's Ozzy Osbourne object of temporary interest. Oh well, by the way, PART 1 of "The Funniest Moments in JamiroFan2000's Posts" is now posted in the "Offtopic" section of JamiroTalk.net. It will be a two part compilation of the funniest moments in my 160 post history, I hope you like it and find it funny! Peace and take care!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

After watching all the edited footage from your interviews
Mr. Bashir, I think your a marked man, MJ is a great father and
all you did was distort the truth and try to bring down the King of
Pop, but all you did was reinforce his place in Rock N Roll History!

lol@jamirofan! LOL sooo true, me dear! hehe

the brits awards was disappointing, this year! angry ......not only did our boys NOT collect a brit award but the actual layout of the show, was just tooo dull, formal & the audience looked as if they weren't enjoying themselves (except for the british presenters such as cat deeley, vernon kay, tess daly, davina mccall......etc)

i still cannot believe the sugababes won "best dance act"! their music isn't really of that music genre, don't you think?..i still can't get my head round that! :wtf:

xxxxxx

The way I see it is that we, as fans of Jamiroquai dont need some award at some ceremony. Jamiroquai have proved that they're great by both the music and by the length of time they've been around. let those one hit wonders enjoy some short lived fame. Jamiroquai rises above all that sulky

Take Care

u tell them serge!! rite on!! in our minds and hearts they are the best band to us!! they don't need a lump of metal (award) to prove any of it, its in the fans, its in the music, its in the gigs they play, its in your ears, and mostly jami knows they're a pretty tops band, they don't need no lump of metal!!! one more thing...SUGARBABES suck middle fingers hahaha (some dance act...)
