What do you think of "Snooze you Lose"?
For those who have heard it -- how do you feel about it? I myself find the song to be much better than the songs it promoted [AFO, to be precise]. It's quite good, and I seriously don't see how it DIDN'T make it onto Synk. My own little rating would be 4.5 stars out of 5.

I heard that this track was composed for the soundtrack to "Snatch", a Guy Ritchie film, but it didn't make it there for some reasons. I don't know if it's true, though.

Anyway, I really dig this track. Funky one Cool

There was a song going to be on that Snatch soundtrack from Jamiroquai, although I have no idea if 'Snooze You Lose' was that one.

D!

I like Snooze you loose, it's a very good funky-rock song. I think it's quite better than some song from Dynamite album

I'm a bit neutral towards it. I have it on my iPod and I enjoy it,don't get me wrong...but it seems a bit...short or somethin'. But I still like it for the most part, though. Just really upbeat. Very Happy

Something I've been thinking about ...

Since this song is from the Synkronized-era, who plays the bass on it then? Stu or Nick? I am not sure if it was recorded with Stu before Nick joined the band, like 'Deeper Underground' from the same era. Any thoughts?

deeper underground bass is by stu, other tracks from synkronized were previously reocrded also by him, but the ones on the actual album are by nick or by a computer

I have to say I think Snooze You Lose is a really a poorly crafted song. I feel like it was rushed, and no one really cared to make it great. The music is decent, and I appreciate the horns, but the lyrics are pretty trite.

I mean obviously I love Jamiroquai, but this was not their finest hour.
