The Ultimate Jamiroquai Ranking Topic
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I was talking to Maru about our most beloved Jamiroquai songs, in a ranking. And we went up to the number 10 spot. But... wait a minute, we said. What about ranking ALL the Jamiroquai songs, whatever the reasons are. It doesn't have to be because of the BEST Jamiroquai songs, but because maybe they mean something to you. And the last songs in the ranking are perhaps the one that you hardly listen to, or you don't like at all.
I'm gonna start by making MY Jamiroquai ranking. Including the best songs for me, musically and lyrically speaking, and my personal favorites. Here I go, top first 40 (today/lately):
1. Canned Heat (best disco song)
2. Space Cowboy (the edit version is just a perfect mixture of both music and voice)
3. Manifest Destiny (the lyrics and the instrumentation are excellent)
4. Stillness In Time
5. Corner Of The Earth
6. Music Of The Mind
7. Blow Your Mind
8. Supersonic (personal reasons, the first song I fell in love with them!, besides a very original electronic approach)
9. Bullet
9 1/2. Butterfly
10. Cosmic Girl
11. Shoot The Moon
12. Radio/Runaway
13. Electric Mistress
14. Scam
15. Destitute Illussion
16. Slipin' N' Slidin'
16 1/2. Planet Home
17. Revolution
18. High Times
19. Soul Education
20. Just Another Story
21. Morning Glory
22. When You Gonna Learn
23. So Good To Feel Real
24. Emergency On Planet Earth
25. Mr. Moon
26. Falling / Talullah
27. Journey To Arnhemland
28. Starchild
29. Little L
30. Funk Odyssey
31. Black Crow
32. Starchild
33. Space Clav
34. Black Capricorn Day
35. (Don't) Give Hate A Chance
36. Do That Dance
37. Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
38. Stop Don't Panic
39. Seven Days In Sunny June
40. Main Vein

well, Diego never said that you have to agree with him, he clearly said that this are his choices.
if he likes electric mistress, that's completely ok, and if you prefer eope, well that's ok too
and if you want to make your own ranking and put world that he wants at no.1, that will be ok too
i'm still making mine, it's a bit hard to do
at first we wanted to rank all the tunes jamiroquai has ever made, but they were more than 90, so that would have been extremely hard |
