So I just listened the bootleg Club Citta 1993 (A++)
And maaaannn, I don't know if they had smoked before this gig, but they were really tight !!!!! I mean even if they were good with this line up, they still sounded amateurish sometimes. But this last gig in japan ? They literally killed it !!! Especially with brothers like you, do that dance, space clav and tighten up.
And I must say that Gavin Dodds was beast with a guitar, his solo in tighten up was just perfect, I thought that Simon Katz was better than him, but I was wrong
Anyway, Jamiroquai was really on a good day, this bootleg>>>>>>>any other bootleg |

Yeah Gavid Dodds sounded VERY funky on the early bootlegs. Way better than Simon. |

i love all concerts from the eope era
they had style...
of course you could see more influences from other artists then i the other eras.
i dont mean with that that they performed songs made by the headhunters or mister wonder it was the whole music (jmq tunes too)!
it was really a different era than the others. sometimes it looked like pure fun when they performed. in my opinion sony hasnt seen the real commercial potential this time. this changed ever since the twm era. $ony (or better the candyman right knjaz?) saw the money and $ony wanted more...
it was the wole situation that gave these concerts another "flair". jay walked at the stage in glastonbuy 93 and thought "wow!". today its more or less everytime the same jamiroquai performs songs for a big crowd of people. (i want to remember on rock in rio 06 with 90 000 people) and maybe the eope era is soo amazing for the most people of us because there exist not much bootlegs. other eras have much more concerts and jamiroquai performed very different.
dont forget jamiroquai and many other bands like to perform in japan _________________ maxud braucht funk food denn dann bleibt maxud maxud

I agree with you Maxud, it really looked like they were having fun.
Even if the TWM era was nicer because overall, the musicians were better, and they could choose more songs, gigs were not so fun to watch. Simon Katz always looked bored on scene, and Stuart always had the same expression on his face, dead serious.
However in citta 1993, the guy is jumping around, funkin on his bass etc...
Same thing for the others bandmembers, you could see on their faces and their movements that they were having fun |

i think that was because of the problems with Jay Kay... but we are not gonna lie, the best concerts were in that tour... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
