4th single news... when??
Hello Jamirotalkers
We should have info about the next single, don't you think?
Maybe they won't release anything?
Who knows, I'd like to see a new video. The last 2 ones didn't fill my expectations.

As I said before, I'm expecting a live video, maybe from the south-american tour, with the crazy audience ! I just love the mood of High Times... |

I don't know when it'll be appeared but as Diego said, it's time to see last single.
A liveo video would be nice and unexpected, so I would like it. Like "City of blanding lights" U2 and this kind of videos |

Good point about the next single. I would have thought that it should be within the next couple of weeks.
I dont know why but i have a strange feeling that there may not be another single I really hope im wrong about that though.
I am trying to think back to the previous singles released and the time duration between them...........it was not that long really was it? Not compared to this one anyway.
Which track do i hope it is? I think it has to be Dynamite really. |

well, let's wait for Starchild as the fourth single.
Remember that back in 2002 Love foolosophy was released in February, and the fourth single, Corner of the earth, in June 2002, so I think that after the latin american tour news will appear . |

Wow, was there that much time between the two releases? Thats quite a long time i guess. Oh well perhaps there a good chance of another single after all.
But you say Starchild.............i hope its Dynamite as i think it will have a cool video. |

That's true, but Love foolosophy was a great comercial impact to squeeze and unfortunately DGHAC has been relatively ignored. |

4th single?
As much as I hate to say it, I can't really see the point of them releasing a 4th single.
The album has'nt done as well as I expected (or certainly has'nt done as well as it deserved to) and the last single was also generally ignored and had a poor chart position.
Again its something I hate to say but I don't think the general public (UK) really get Jamiroquai. Not enough people truly sit down and listen to the music and say 'you know what, these guys are good'.
Speaking from a UK fanbase point of view, there will always be a loyal following in the UK, but I can't really see what the band can do to appeal to the masses while staying true to the sound. I mean Dynamite is a brilliant album but has just not got the credit.
I think a 4th single would barely scrape into the top 40 even if it was 'Dynamite' or 'Starchild'. Sony don't make the singles worth buying if you have the album even for collectors by just shoving remixes onto every release
What about B-Sides and live tracks. Fans would much rather these than remixes which more often than not are never near as good as the original song. Infact most of them are rubbish.
So there you have it. I am as big a fan as anyone in terms of how much I like the bands music but I can't really see the point of a 4th single other than a video for our own personal enjoyment. _________________ 'This is the world he wants, pray for the brave and the young...' |

In some respects i agree, there just dosn't seem the hype and excitement around this album as there had been others. I'm talking about the media here of course. But i think they will and i also hope they will.

Totally agree, being from the UK myself, hardly anyone i speak to knows about Jamiroquai. If they do, they just know Virtual Insanity and thats it. Seeing as they come from the UK you would think this would be different.
It just seems like if it aint mainstream pop, they dont know
Damn this cheesy pop world |
