JAMIROQUAI - THE NEW FACE OF CLARION
Hi everyone, I found this today...
From January 2007 Jamiroquai will be the face of Japanese car navigation and audio manufacturer Clarion. In a new brand image video Jay will be featured driving the new Clarion H.M.I. "Moray" concept car, designed by Italian company Italdesign - Giugiaro.
According to the Clarion (Japan) website, "news of the event will be posted in Japan on the Clarion web site in January 2007, followed by TV commercials, product catalogues, music posters and more in the stores later."
The video will premiere in January at the CES Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas between 8 and 11 January and will also be available to watch at the Clarion website.
According to the Clarion website, Jamiroquai was chosent as they are "International icons in the music field, Jamiroquai’s look and sound uniquely capture the spirit of the ideal integration of music, information and mobility, Clarion embodied in the "Clarion H.M.I. (Human Mobile Music Media Interface)" brand slogan."

Nationwide brand image campaign in Japan planned for 2007
Seeking to further boost global recognition for its brand name, Clarion Co., Ltd. (President: Tatsuhiko Izumi) has recruited the world famous British band Jamiroquai as the new face for its brand starting in January 2007.
It will be Jay Kay behind the wheel singing the Jamiroquai hit "Feel so Good" in the brand image video when the new blue Clarion H.M.I. “Moray” concept car designed by world-famous Italian design company Italdesign-Giugiaro* makes its world debut at the Clarion booth at the Consumer Electronics Show being held January 8-11, 2007 in Las Vegas.
News of the event will be posted in Japan on the Clarion web site in January 2007, followed by TV commercials, product catalogues, music posters and more in the stores later.
This campaign is one more step in the company’s quest for broader global marketplace recognition of its brand name that began one year ago with the launch of the new global Clarion brand in January 2006.
The choice of Jamiroquai as standard bearer was an easy one: International icons in the music field, Jamiroquai’s look and sound uniquely capture the spirit of the ideal integration of music, information and mobility, Clarion embodied in the “Clarion H.M.I. (Human Mobile Music Media Interface)” brand slogan.
Aiming to make its brand an international icon in its field as well, this is the latest of Clarion’s global activities.
Clarion’s plans to further popularize its brand in 2007 include:

British band Jamiroquai:

It's not working for me - on the Japan site, it just gives the same info/photos as I posted originally and no photo comes up on the US site
Is anyone able to post the pics up for me

sorry sam ,
it's when you enter the Japan site from the start - it loads clarion H.M.I - then gives like a slideshow of jay in the car, the sat nav system and jay in a futureistic corridor much like the Afo graphics.
I apologise if you have seen this introduction already
also from the clarion news article above - the Consumer Electronics Show was hosted last week in Las Vegas which included the new Clarion in-car entertainment system and sat nav. Unfortunately i couldn't find any pics of the 'moray' concept car but here is the system they are marketing with jay driving on-screen if you look carefully
this was from the clarion booth at the show:
another model in the range jay is promoting while driving the car:
