Need some help for my english exam
Hello! I need some help for my english exam, I have to give a presentation.
But my english isn't very good and I have a strong french accent
So I was wondering if an english native speaker could record my text to show me the good pronunciation and intonation. Please please please
It's a text about Polar bear: http://www.wwf.org.uk/core/wildlife/fs_0000000044.asp
I know it's a little bit length but I still don't know what parts I'll keep or not.
I'll really appreciate if someone could help me
Thanks in advance xxx _________________

Hi there. Sorry I don't have the equipment to record a reading of that file, but i may be able to help you in some other areas. Do you have specific guidelines for the presentation, like a time limit and questions to answer? I have to give speeches in French and German this year, so I understand that it is difficult. Can you give me more information? I'm not sure whether this reply is in time though. |

Thanks for your answer!
No, it's not too late, it's for Monday (14th May).
I have to present the text thanks to the keywords (I can't have the text in front of me).
It must last about 5-10minutes and my teacher will ask me some questions at the end.
Thanks a lot, I'll probably send you a pm for some questions of grammar or something else.
And for the intonation, I'll probably listen to Jay's interviews again and again! _________________

Jay's got a very strange accent, mind. I have a feeling he puts it on, personally. I'd offer you my straight-down-the-middle BBC accent but I don't have a microphone, sorry!

Yes JK has quite an accent. He mumbles a lot, I don't advise you talk like him. If you have any friends who are english at your school/university you could consider talking to them in english and then listen carefully to their accent. Even just listening to some British radio or television might help. |
