Yes of course, Steve. Who do you think keeps the UK's acid jazz record business going these days?

Their album The Plot Thickens is also superb. 'Twyford Down' is an acid jazz CLASSIC. 'Jazz?' and 'Skunk Funk' from A Joyful Noise... are brilliant too...

Hey!!! I noticed this topic just today!

Galliano are great, You guys remembered some of the best tracks and I would recommed as well "Live at the liquid room". About the tracks I would add the amazing Prince of Peace on "The Plot Thickens" and So much confusion from "A Joyful Noise Unto the Creator".

The intro of So much confusion could be the acid jazz manifest IMHO, that thin keyboard riff on the synth....it's touching my deep soul...

So far I only heard two of their songs "Fredrick Lies Still" and "I Love You Baby". I love them but it's hard to look for some of their cds I only got their songs from Itunes. They are a talented group and their music are poignant.
