Argentine football awards
First of all, I've been out of the loop for ages. Things are good, but I've not had much time for forums lately. I'll be back, don't worry. Not that you're missing me!

Anyway, the point of this post: As you're all aware, I run a website dedicated to spreading the wonderful gospel about Argentine football to all the poor people of the world who can only read English. And soon we'll be handing out our first ever annual awards, to those deserving enough.

One such award is for the 'best performance by an Argentine playing abroad', and it's open to readers to vote. Please for God's sake don't do it if you've no interest in football. I know some of you read my site to support me, and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know, but I'm mainly putting this here for the Argentines and other football fans who post here to give me their nominations!

DON'T post nominations in this thread. Go to this page: http://hastalogolsiempre.com/2007/05/18/hasta-lo-gol-siempre-end-of-season-awards/ and email them to the address at the bottom. Next Sunday night the nominations will close and the final five will be announced.

Nominate wisely...

Sam

Yes, you can vote for Tevez, because he's played for West Ham for the whole of 2006-2007.

Higuaín and Gago only joined Madrid in mid-season, and Masche (one of my favourite players by the way, so I didn't WANT to exclude him!) switched from West Ham to Liverpool halfway through as well. That's why those players aren't elligible.
