Spanish Valencia Cancelled, New French Date!!!
Hello everyone, :bm_b:
I've really noticed a slowdown on JamiroTalk.net in the number of new posts, but it's understandable, it's a busy season for work and holidays. Anyhoo, I read at the Jamirosite (http://www.jamirosite.com), and Frenchiroquai.com (http://www.frenchiroquai.com) that the Spanish Valencia gig has been cancelled BUT a new French date has been added to the list of tourdates: The Six Furnaces show in France on Wednesday July 30th 2003. Jamiroquai did want to do the Spanish gig, but they will probably reschedule for sometime in August maybe, just my guess. The wait for all fans wanting to hear the new stuff is going to be tiring, but I know we can make it, maybe we should have a competition where the fans submit their own new Jamiroquai songs, then after all of them are submitted, we can make a fictional 6th Jamiroquai Album out of all the submissions, just a idea I had the other day as in a way of killing the time till July. Please fellow moderators reply to post if you think it's a good idea ! Thanks for listening and take care all! Special thanks to CosmicMouse for the props, hang in there Mouse! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I wait with baded breath to hear the new live retooled
hopefully through a old sound conversion "Cannabliss"!

Are we making up titles for new Jam songs? If so, I've got a few up my sleve.
I was watching the videos of TWOM and High Times performed on MTV in 1997, and It makes me realize how much I really want the band to come over here again for the new album. I've never seen LIVE IN VERONA, so these videos are the only footage I have of the band in concert.
On a side note, I've formed a Jamiroquai cover band with some of my friends....we're called JAZZ IN YOUR PANTS, and we've already played once, at a Student Talent Night. We performed ALRIGHT, and I have to say it sounded pretty good (I'm singing, and I get to dance all around, and wear some funky hats!). As of now we don't have brass, but we're working on it. Our full set list will include:
Love Foolosophy
The Kids
High Times
Alright
Space Cowboy
Blow Your Mind
Just Another Story
When You Gonna Learn?
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear it. We're avoiding some of the more difficult music as of now, but we have a way of working out just about anything, when we really put our minds to it.
Anyway, thanks for putting up with all this text. Cheers! |

stillness in time
mr. moon
travelling without moving
canned heat
deeper underground
black crow
and if you find a didge player, the didge version of use the force and journey to arnhemland _________________

Yeah, I forgot about Mr. Moon and Travelling Without Moving....we're probably gonna try those. Maybe Use The Force. As for the others, I don't know if they'll work for our purposes. I love 'em all, but we either don't have the musicians we need, or the equipment, or in some cases it just won't have the impact we want for non-Jam fans (and in Virginia, Jam fans are hard to come by). We're just trying to put on an entertaining show, and I think we might do a good job of that. Thanks for the help!
Jamirofan can come out and see us sometime (that is, if we ever get a real gig) |

I would love to ;-)
Hello again, :bm_r:
Cool Freddie , a Jamiroquai cover band in VA, that rocks! I would be honored to come out when you play, just pass me on the info where you will play next and I'll try to swing by if I have some spare time, which these days for me is hard to come by! Cool playlist, DIDGIN had some good ideas too, good luck on the band Freddie! Peace!
Sincerely,
