First JamilyPhotoCompetition - Discussion
Not sure if anybody suggested that before or maybe smth like I want to suggest's happened before, but!
I see that many of us love to make photos and a lot of us have amazing pics so why don't we make a photo-competition here?
For example thse who want to have part send pics to the one who's responsible for it (14 days after competiton starts) and then for a week we give voices for photos - 10 points system.
And it could be anonym coz only responsible person will know authours of photografs......
Prize could be just jamily t-shirt or smth like under avatar of th winner you'll see his little winner-pic.....
And topic of competition could be JamiroLife or anything:)
So what do you think of it? |

Then we have to decide
1-Topic of upcoming competition (give your ideas)
2-Rules (I suggest to accept usage of photoshop and other programms but I'm against photocollages here-coz collage is aboout using 2 pics, also user may put only 1 photo, and to be anonymous we should send photos that we haven't put here before in any topic)
3-Person who'll be responsible for putting our pics for voting (I suggest Meike:)) and that person will also be responsible for counting votes. When sending photos we should give them name and tell our nickname.
4-Dates: start date, deadline of sending photos and date when voting starts and it's deadline.

Yeah, picture of my life sounds good!
Btw my photo exhibition was called Jamirovision:)))And we've been showing also video there on the big screen and it was called picture of my life and sdtr was guess which song:))) |

Cool idea Pepela.
My only suggestion is to maybe have someone else from the moderating Jamirotalk team do the posting of the photos. With running the site, kids, hubby, regular life and such, Meike might not have the time, which is understandable. So, I'd choose a back up or ask for volunteers of who could do it from the team incase she can't - but maybe she can.

Dee, sure, that was only 1 idea so if anybody wants to be responsible for this competition should tell us his will:)
By the way of course I agree that he'd be from moderating team. |

good idea pepela, but i am unsure exactly. maybe didn't read properly, is there a theme to pics submitted, can it be pic of places, things or people?.. Perhaps have a theme and photos need to be taken of that theme then you can run a few competitions (one after another) of different themes (such as gardens, pets, sunsets, people etc..?) If this is the case, can I suggest a theme of Sunsets?.. We have the most magic sunsets this time of year... Not sure if that is what u are already suggesting... I need clear instructions otherwise I am a confused girl.. But i think it would be fun thing to do.. in the mean time i will read your posts again see if i has misread..

Don't want to be an ass here, but if we use photoshop or whatever programm... i like more the idea of a real photo, without trics. So you can really see if it's a good one.
