*My New Music Blog*
Let me keep it simple:
I love music to the point where I’m discovering new stuff everyday, spend work time listening and dissecting new tunes, wake up in the morning to check my inbox for new releases, run home to see if I’ve gotten any promos in the mail, spent a countless amount of money on concerts, and even traveled clear across the ocean for my favorite band.
I just love music. Even more though – I love spreading the word about music. Hence, me being a journalist part-time.
So, I figured that I would put this love to good use by using my writing blog to also write about music that I’m diggin’. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to do it. Hopefully weekly or bi-weekly. But I also give you a link to listen to the music in some cases.
While I do love hip-hop, it’s not all about hip-hop…you’ll see dance, soul, house, rock, pop, country, gospel and other stuff in there. Please do check it out and leave comments and all that stuff. It won’t be all new music, as there is some stuff that is old or semi-new that I’m feeling.
I figure this will also help sharpen up my skills as far as writing reviews and such is concerned. Which, I’ll still be doing and they are also posted in that same blog. The address is www.dee34.blogspot.com
Yep, it’s one more thing on my plate, but staying busy is the way to stay alive.
