German Summer Festivals
I have heard that Jamiroquai will be performing at the Rock im Park and Rock am Ring festivals in Germany from May 17-19. Does anyone know if this is really confirmed by Jamiroquai?
I would love to go to both concerts and I guess CosmicBear is going to come with me, aren't you Bear?

Of course, I am coming! After all - didn't we agree, that Mouse and Bear belong together like Jam and Iroquai?
As we don't have the chance to see them in the UK this year again, at least we have to see them in Germany (and maybe Switzerland)

Nuremburg That's probably not near Luxemburg is it...? (it's a shame I haven't looked in my atlas yet)
My parents own a trailer in Luxemburg so if it's not to far of I might go look at them.

no, not really. nürnberg is in the south of germany and köln (cologne) is in the west. köln is actually only a couple of hours from rotterdam away. maybe you wanna check it out

okay, i was wrong with Rock am Ring, but i am sure, we will find out where this is. after all, it is in germany... and we will have a couple of hours to travel from on gig to the other... who knows? maybe jamiroquai can give us a ride

Now I know where it is: about 90 km in the south of Köln.
The distance between the two festivals is 400 km

Hey Bear, when will we buy our tickets?
Here are the dates:
Saturday, the 18th May 2002:
Jamiroquai is performing at Rock am Ring in Nuerburg, Nuerburgring, Germany
Sunday, the 19th May 2002:
Jamiroquai is performing at Rock im Park in Nuernberg, Germany
Who is going to come along with us???

rock am ring
Hi, I might be joining. it depends a bit on the cost (what's the price of a ticket?, i'll check on of the sites out later)
My parenst own a caravan in Luxemburg, Clervaux to be exact. From there we made several trips to the nurburgring to enjoy the pleasure of riding at a track. So the Nurburg is well known to me.
It's just that the 18th is my birthday, star wars epII will hit the theaters here in Holland and I'm not sure if I want to take a trip from here to nurburg just to see an hour (or so) of jamiroquai. Maybe if someone likes to join me from here.
I'll let you know if I go

rock am ring continued
just looked at roak-am-ring.de and danm € 78,- for a ticket. I'm a big fan but paying € 78 just to see jamiroquai (who knows how long they will be playing?)... no way.
for € 25 I might have done it, don't forget the travel costs money too.
