Max Sedgley & the Shoots
Just wanted to let people in the NW UK know they are playing at Telfords Warehouse in my hometown Chester on July 7th that's after they have been to Glastonbury.
Arrow http://www.telfordswarehouse.com/home.htm

You may recognise there classic tune - 'Happy' from the current Bacardi advert on tv - http://www.myspace.com/maxsedgley

entry - free before 9 Very Happy and only £4 thereafter.

Oooh yeah I really enjoy his tunes and remixes Very Happy

Here in Italy his remix for Sarah Vaughan's "Peter Gunn" is often played on adverts, as well as his "Slowly" for "Velvet" magazine. His "From The Roots To The Shoots" is a great album. A couple of tracks disappointed me, but the rest is a really good work!

i totally agree and it reminds me of Moorcheba so it veers away from the rest of the album but a damn good album.

Well - i have just surfaced from an amazing set from this band at Telfords last night. It was a bit short but hey - there is only 1 album and it was free so can't complain.

I can't remember the whole setlist as i was a teeny bit drunk but i did manage to get some pics and a couple of very short cam movies.

Devil Inside & Slowly - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=44H2XNLE

here are the pics but as usual with the law of 'Sod' - the battery in my camera ran out at the crucial point with Max. What is it with people taking pictures of me with bands??? Mad
Also the lighting inside was not ideal as it is an old boating warehouse:
