Jamiroquai keyboard player Matt Johnson has posted a message to his MySpace blog giving an update on what he has been working on recently. In addition to working with some other artists he has created some Jamiroquai sounds for users of XioSynth synthesizers (please see the news item at Jamiroquai.com for more information).
He also talks about going back to work with Jamiroquai:
"But soon we will be starting to work on the next Jamiroquai album, I'm excited to see what that is going to be like!"

I am happy to hear that they are about to start with the new album soon! Exciting!! 
I don't have a xio synthesiser, but I have checked their website anyways in order to try matt's sounds. It's funny to play with the little patchplayer - you have 3 keys to test various sounds. Try it, you will hear some familiar sounds!!

Funny thing, but it rather reminds me of some hardcore dance songs (also known as "techno tuning" in France) that people who are into car-tuning like to play while cruising around (mainly on friday nights in the outskirts of Stuttgart)... It reminds me of the typical sound of the Hoover synthesizer (check this website):
