mother nature gone...wild?
Lately every time i turn on the news...a new disaster has popped up.

And i can't help to wonder, is it the time of year.
Is this always going on, but normally the press does not cover it.
And this time, they do cover it.

Just to name some....

Floods in India, China, Austria
Mini Tsunami's (well they called them mini, but thought a tsunami is BIG)
The quake in Peru
Hurricane Dean, that is still spinning towards Jamaica
And now i hear of a volcano in Indonesia.
There are a LOT of fires in Europe, due to droughts
Some days ago i heard of ppl in Turkey who have NO drinking water.

Is this...."normal"???
All these disasters under the equator (exept for Austria of course)
Would love to hear what you think!

Yes, natural disasters are indeed bigger.

BUT
People should know that media coverage 'drives' the information.. how can I explain...? mmm
Natural disasters have always ocurred, but if the media doesn't show it, it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
So, when the weather "is news" they make a coverage on every one of them. Didn't you noticed that once in a while there's a type of crime that repeats everywhere and then after a while, there isn't even one piece of news about it?

News announcements are tricky nowadays, they are far more interested on showing what did Paris Hilton do last night, than how many people died because of crime or a tornado.

But yes, man has turned nature against him, there's no doubt about it, just watch out what do you read, where do you read and how do you read about it. Tragic tunes during a piece of information can easily misdirect the effect of something.

I hope I made myself clear, cause I don't think I did XD

Thanks for the view.

But no tragic tunes, for i read most of it on the internet.

As i understand, i dunno why, in summer time there is less news.
So they, news media, grab all they can and put it in the papers...true true true

But the things i hear of now...are not small.
That is why i asked.
