Blue Planet: New album song?? (you tell)
Hello all, LOOONG time no see.
I dunno if this was already posted, sorry for not checking it out properly buuutt....today a very close friend of mine who happens to work with a very rich and crazy man from the Netherlands shared this song with me (the rich crazy jami fan gave it to him first, hence the relevance of the relationship), he explained that it appears to be a new jamiroquai song...I sorta doubt it, although lyricless, sounds funky..kinda different from what I was expecting (a jazz album nothing less) in case this is a real new song..sounds to me more like a remix os some weird sound taken from a funky ibiza compilation but who knows...blue planet's the song's name..apparently
I just wanted to share it with you all and I'd love to hear what you think...I'm actually very skeptic, but here it goes...enjoy.

PS: I do remember getting the dynamite tracklist somewhere before it was even published and I posted it here, I was right then...hopefully, I'm right again this time |

Errh I don't think this track is a Jamiroquai track. It sounds nothing like Matt, Rob, or Jay.
Like you said it probably comes from a Ibiza mix cd :/ |

he he I do probably need new friends well you know what rich people can do..money makes the world go around and if you're a filthy rich 40-yr-old european, you might actually have connections..he does seem to be a super jami fan though...(the rich boy)
Don't hate me if after the download you feel like you wasted 2 minutes of your time..maybe it's a new instrumental he he and you heard it here first!
Dayem Diego..I probably need new friends and proper chores to get my hands full with ha ha ha! |

It could be... but its very different. But think in Jay singing on it...
it changes a lot..
so who knows, I think that it's not very far from being a Jamiroquai song. |

hm... the last info I heard just 2 weeks ago (from 2 bandmembers) was that they will soon start writing and recording, and that Jay still was on holidays that time. So I doubt that they have done this track in this short time...
but still interesting... maybe something they did earlier, or just a rumour... who knows...

Hmmmm....On first listen sounds something like I could do in two minutes with E-jay
IF it's JMQ,and I really really really doubt it is,then it's half-disappointing and half not since it's still better than Stop don't panic and most other songs from the two last albums that I absolutely hate, but it's definitely not what I was hoping for
The "drums" and "percussion" sound too electronic and definitely too poor for Derrick and Sola
Guitar is kinda nice
But it's been through a "phaze" effect or something like that(I'm not an expert in these things!)
The hints of bass are cool tho!
That concludes my analysis,I don't think it's a Jamiroquai track! We'll have to wait and see! _________________

i don't think is jami, although it haves a "use the force"-y progression and have some good guitar and bass licks... _________________

1st time I listened to it I thought it was part of a Nintendo game...
It sounds very electronic...
But well, time will tell... |

Ok for any Mac/Garage Band users out there, you may know this as well. This is not to say that The Boys don't use music programs, but if they did, they would use 2 things: 1. Pro-Tools and 2. A proper engineer! This song was done on Garage Band and I can sefely say that cos I recognize some instruments and samples cos I've used them myself. DEFINATELY NOT JAMIROQUAI! _________________ "...200 miles per hour and still movin'..." |
