Jackson 5 on tour *WITH* Michael in 2008
I'm not believing this until I see tickets go on sale AND the first concert has actually happened...make that the first 2! I mean, they are a bit older, so I hope they don't try and do any of those moves from back in the day...they may hurt themselves a bit

Today Jermaine Jackson of the original Jackson 5 family pop sensation announced on BBC 6 Music's airwaves that there will be a reunion tour in 2008, including himself, Marlon, Tito, Randy and Michael.
Conceived back in 2003 and postponed until next year due to Michael's molestation charges, the plan will finally be realized along with Jermaine's side project: a family musical that deals "with the music from the early days of Gary, Indiana up until we got signed at Motown and it’s gonna end on the Victory Tour." It will be the first time the Jackson 5 appear together since that tour in 1984.
Interview is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/news/20071126_jermainejackson.shtml _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com

haha of course, compared to the 80's Michael Jackson, the real one is a total mess, but i think he's looking better than he did four or five years ago when his face was a total disaster!!
and nah, i don't read Ebony, i just go through the MJ fansites and read the news... there i watched the pics! he looks fine to me! and hope he comes out with something nice and not like that last album Invincible.... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Oh okay...I was just asking because I didn't want to be ignorant, but it would be a bit strange to me if you read Ebony (because it a Black magazine that is geared towards women ).
I actually liked the first half of 'Invicible' (Break of Dawn, Heaven Can Wait, Rock My World - which reminded me of some 90's MJ, Butterflies). Besides those, I didn't dig it at all. Some of it was just pure garbage in my opinion. I don't expect 80's and 90's MJ or anything like it really. I mean...it's 2007, I expect him to maybe echo or emboddie those sounds, but in a futuristic and modern way.
His kids look normal and that is good atleast. I agree that he looks better than a few years ago. He also looks like he is gaining some weight or putting on weight. He looked so boney and frail a few years ago. _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com

I don't think anyone can deny that MJ's stuff up until Thriller is still one of the best pop tracks out there.
I really like "Off The Wall" and "Thriller",........
that's cool if that really happens Deesh.... I would go..... |
