I'd never have thought his name would ever pop up on this site Laughing Lokomotiv GT is the Beatles of Hungary and he was one of the founding members and key contributors to their tracks on keys. He's the one singing behind the keyboards:

They were to be the first group coming from a communist country to make an international career in the US and UK but the guitarist deserted, they never made big after that (and so did the drummer later on too).

Yes HoneyBee, this is a compilation of their early years, they were formed as a supergroup carefully selected from other bands like Omega who played classic british rock back then, so the start is pretty Led Zeppelin-ish but LGT was always much more experimental. Even the great Jack Bruce (bassist of Cream) endorsed them in the UK.

After Barta and Laux left the "golden" line-up by deciding not to return to Hungary from the US in 1974/76 they shifted from stadium rock and jazz-funk to more mainstream pop/jazz...
