Lights are on again in Chillington!

Jamiroquai In Studio (Posted on 15.01.2008)
Jamiroquai are back in the studio! Following a quiet '07, Jay and the band have begun work writing and recording their seventh studio album. Around 11 tracks have already been written, and we're sure more will follow. Keep checking back for updates.
---------------------------------------
11+ tracks? Might this be a new double album? |

Eleven!!???!! Sooo great!! Something is happening! I wish... I wish I was a little mouse in Chillington and could sneak in while they are recording/writing... the cape from Harry Potter which makes you invisible would do as well...
Exciting, exciting!!

Hello there,
11 New Songs, that is very precise, great development, I just know they still be AWESOME ! I wonder, will Cannabliss/Shoot The Moon be amongest them as B-Sides? They are more than worthy for inclusion on a future single or 2, still granted, INCREDIBLE! Thanks for the news spotting Brother Knjaz, much appreciated ! Cheers!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
P.S. I don't know how 11 new songs can muster thoughts of a double album, they would need at least 20+ songs to do that . But anything is possible ! Wishful thinking is a good thing! _________________

So what? Mike Oldfield had "Incantations", which was one single composition split into four movements over a double album. That's some ten songs and seven tracks short of eleven, and still is a double album. |

Let's just hope they go back to some old school funk/acid-jazz like they promised.
but, I am very excited and cannot wait to hear anything new, but mostly I am a little more anxious to find out what the new means of promotion will be.
will there be digital downloads first?
will there be singles released like Sorny used to do?
I hope they don't try a Radiohead whatever you want to pay thing....
I personally think they should try releasing song by song. That way an entire album cannot be bootleged until after all the songs are released.
i mean if you think about it that is the way things are kind of headed.
? glad they are back in the studio! |

Wicked, wicked, wicked ! I wonder if these 11 tracks are brand new ones or some outtakes, previously unfinished tracks which Sony might did not accpet to be put on album... |
