I don't think Tyler looks or sounds like Jay, but I do like him a little bit. He is Amy Winehouse's ex-boyfriend. I don't lke the Foolish song, but here is a duet with Amy that I dig called 'Best of Me'. It was done a few years ago...

First, I Loved this music Best of Me. It's so good. Thanks a lot!!! I gived this link for all my friends. They loved too!!!
I don't know all Tyler James's work. In fact, i just know this music, foolish. Sometimes in Brazil is very hard to find more things about musician who doesnt popular.
But, something in this music remember some jamiroquai's musics. I guess is his voice. Tyler can be too a white boy trying be a black man!!! 
Try listen You are my love (first part) and then listen foolish. Or, if we are talking about feelings, Foolish make me so happy like when I listen Canned Heat!
This music (Brown Skin - India Arie) does'nt look like a jamiroquai's song but all the time a listen it and pay attetion in bass guitar a remember jamiroquai band. Maybe because the bass is the soul of jamiroquai's music.

 Hi Jana.. just a little tip for you: I guess more than 80 % of us are non-native-english speakers, so don't worry about your english! That's the good thing here - this community is international and moreover (almost) all people are tollerant. Nobody will be annoyed by language mistakes. I think for some it is more annoying to hear this sentence "sorry for my english" again and again...hehe.... 
When I started this forum nearly 6 years ago I always thought my poor school english would never be enough to moderate an international forum - but I think I could improve my english during this time - at least I feel more secure now. Your ENGLISH IS FINE! 
I was just introduced to Tyler James a few months ago. Don't know much of him either. I will do your recommendation this weekend about You Are My Love and Foolish.
Tyler has got a twing of soul, just a twing....
...and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Brown Skin by India Arie. Such a beautiful song about my people and our lovely skin  ! It's so soft and intimate.

Deesh, after you make your listening tell me what do you think. I'll left to you a other musician which I think is very similar to jamiroquai. His names is Daniel Merriweather and the music is She's got me.
And try listen this musician. She is brazilian and make a music which I can named "Acid Jazz Samba".
