Pearls of wisdom
Hi Jamily,
I hope this new thread will become a nice collection of wise words, quotations and words of wisdom. I really like quotations of smart people and often just one sentence can express more than a long waffle.
So, please follow me and add your favourite quotes here to this topic. It can just be a saying you like or the quotation that expresses your current situation or thinking. Don't forget to add the author if it is known.
I am gonna start with one of my favourite quotes of Mahatma Ghandi and this is what I'd like to call my motto:

u mean that sentence" die freiheit des einen hört dort auf wo die freiheit des anderen beginnt" oder so
i think i would translate it different..
hmm
"the freedom of a somebody ends there where the freedome of somebody else starts."
i don´t know but if i would have read it like u wrote it would have another meaning to me.
i loved talking about immanuel kant during schooltime..our philosophy teacher had the word "KANT" written on his plate on the car...hahah
