Has anyone converted JMQ Discography to FLAC?!?
buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Smile You know, been playing around with converting my music to the apparently BETTER online and new audio formats of FLAC/Lossless, which used to be mostly used for better live bootlegs Smile . I was just wondering if any fellow fans had ALREADY experimented with converting their JMQ discography album releases to FLAC/Lossless, mind you I have done it yet myself. Very Happy Is the overall quality of the recording BETTER OR JUST CLEARER Very Happy ? Reason I ask, I have converted some other unrelated artists CDs to FLAC and really dig how clear, concise and better sounding it is! Wink Anyway, just thought I would throw this recent exploit of mine out there on Talk, thanks for whatever info you can reply back with and cheers Wink !

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I used to have my Jamiroquai discography on my hard drive in Monkey's Audio (APE) format, which is another lossless format. But then I run out of hard drive space and converted them to OGG Vorbis with a high bitrate. Smile I thought it would be enough for home listening. But for archiving music nothing is better than FLAC/APE/whatever lossless compression, because it's basically an exact copy of a CD, which takes considerably less disk space than WAV files.
