JAY AT KATE MOSS'S 34TH BIRTHDAY - 16 JAN 2007
Hi everyone, I found this article today about Jay attending Kate Moss's 34th Birthday Party - I'll post photos as soon as I can...
Star faced Moss in 34-hour party!
Kate Moss showed she can play with the grown ups after she celebrated her 34th birthday - with a wild 34-hour party.
Amazingly she managed to hide signs of bleary mascara, rips in the dress and stumbles from taxis that has become her birthday trademark.
Instead she kick-started her lengthy birthday procession with a sit down 'tea party' at her favourite China Tang restaurant at the Dorchester with some older folk including her mum, her Topshop boss Sir Philip Green and geriatric Stones rocker Ronnie Woods.
Things finally got more rock'n'roll after she painted a stunning golden star over her right eye before hitting the night clubs of London's Soho.
There she hooked up with her rock star boyfriend Jamie Hince, Kelly Osbourne and Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay among others.
Insiders at the Punk nightclub said: 'Music included DJ sets from Wild Cat Will and Annie Nightingale, guests drank passion fruit and Old Jamaica Light Ginger Beer cocktails.'
Rewinding the clock there were a few absentees from last year's shin dig with no sign of bad news Pete Doherty and strangely no sign of her best chum Sadie Frost.
Frost opted for a trip to California's Sundance festival with pal Kimberely Stewart, reportedly sparking rumours her longstanding friendship with Moss has hit a frosty patch.

Here's another article that doesn't exactly give the impression that Jay was a good boy at the party...

DO you have a mate who always gets too battered at parties and you have to try to lose them?
They normally fall into people’s drinks, get you and your pals into fights and generally act like idiots.
Well you’re not alone. Even supermodel KATE MOSS has one of these annoying chums - singer JAY KAY.
The JAMIROQUAI star made a t*t of himself at Kate’s 34th birthday bash on Wednesday night.
The boozy star became such a nuisance at Soho’s Punk nightclub that Kate’s pals hatched a plan to shake him off.
My source revealed: “It was an intimate bash but Jay Kay was in a right state and behaving like a right c**k.
“Everyone went to The Dorchester after the club and Jay Kay tagged along.
“At about 8am, Kate took some mates to her new house - but they all pretended they were going to their own houses.
“Jay Kay stayed at the hotel while the rest of them were at Kate’s carrying on the party. It worked a treat.”
Kate has always had an eye for a star - and she took that literally with her make-up for the glam rock-themed party.
RONNIE WOOD, snooker player JIMMY WHITE and ex Atomic Kitten JENNY FROST were among the guests.
They joined Kate’s regular sidekicks DAVINIA TAYLOR, KELLY OSBOURNE and fella JAMIE HINCE.
Kate and Topshop owner SIR PHILIP GREEN were overheard discussing launching a new shoe shop to add to his empire.
DAVID WALLIAMS turned up with CHLOE PRIDHAM - yet another model - but SADIE FROST, RHYS IFANS and SIENNA MILLER snubbed the do despite receiving invites.
Oh well, I’m sure there were enough big names to keep her happy.

At least this kept Jay away from the afterparty at the Dorchester hotel where the room was full of cocaine lines and Kate had a 4some with 2 girls and a boy in front of the guests, according to some articles in Hungary :S. |
