The Euro 2008 thread
I thought it would come handy to open a thread about the Football Euro 2008 which is held in Switzerland and Austria.
At this very moment it's the pause in the first match of the competition Switzerland vs. the Czech Republic at the score of 0:0.
I'm quite pissed off. I especially brought a telly to my flat to watch the Euro 2008, but I only get French programmes. I wanted to watch the matches on the francophone Belgian programme, because Belgian speakers are usually more funny and neutral because Belgium doesn't play in this edition of the Euro. _________________

Poor Suzie.
By the way, my favourite team is Italy, but I think the Portuguese have big chances to win this competition, although this will mean the end of the world here in Luxembourg, because 10% of the population here is of Portuguese nationality and our Portuguese already celebrated their first victory in the preeliminary round like mad.
How will they celebrate if they win the cup? _________________

You mean it'll be tragedy? ...and how did they celebrate when they've won EURO 2004 in their own homelands? _________________

Germany versus Poland I hope the Germans will lose. HOUER PREISEN But unfortunately I think they'll win.
Austria played well against Croatia just now, but they have lost the match.
For me, I'm waiting for the shock match between the Netherlands against Italy tomorrow. FORZA ITALIA!!! _________________
