[21 JUN 2008] - JMQ in Cracow(Poland) REVIEWS/RECORDINGS
I prepared this thread for reviews, pics, setlist and recordings. (The other thread is getting very long, so this might help...)
Unfortunately they only broadcasted the first 4 songs. I am sure our polish friends will soon complete the setlist!
We had so far:
Canned Heat
Seven Days In Sunny June
Alright
Space Cowboy
An audiostream of those 4 songs can be found here:
http://www.jamirotalk.net/JMQ2008/jamiroquai_poland_2008.mp3
Video rip with interruptions (from Zsoma):
http://rapidshare.com/files/124080194/jamiroquai.asf.html
Please, post pics and reviews here into this thread. Thanks!

Hello everyone :p Just back in France I had a very good time at the concert and will try to write a little review
The location was really nice, in front of the Wisla river, even if it was maybe a little bit far from the stage:
Behind us was standing the beautiful Wawel' castle:
The crowd was very huge, very impatient, with very kind spirit and very contrasted; polish; foreigners, childs, teens and even grand parents:
Video of the introduction speech by Jay :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ_bdQ7GZKk
The sound installation was not perfect, but powerful enough, even if I found the voice of Jay was a little too weak and the basses slightly too loud (can't help complaining, I'm french you know ).
Also the video screens were a little laggy (about 2sec late with the audio) but anyway and above all the set list was very original, well played with lot of instrumental parts, from various albums, and pretty long (about 90 minutes); I really enjoyed it
The reflection of the lights on the river was beautiful:
Zoomed picture:
The only little thing wich was a little disapointing according to me was the lack of jokes/speech/contact with the audience, due to the distance between the band and the audience, but anyway it was definitely a great and very nice moment
Big thanks to the event organizers (never saw a so big free event in France, 2.5 million zloty, about 750 000 euros), the band and all the people who were there _________________ Smile ~
