Dear friends of jamirotalk,
Go to the Canary Islands on the 2008 tour start was a success. After two fantastic concerts in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, my husband and I decided to spend two days rest in the south of Tenerife. Coincidentally our hotel was next to the occupied Jamiroquai (Sheraton, a sponsor of the festival Aguaviva).
On Sunday morning we went for a stroll on the beach and back to the hotel, we went through the door of the Sheraton. I do not believe in destiny but in that moment everything went out the door by Jamiroquai to go to the airport   (Jay stayed few more days on the island). Al The band are charming and affectionate. After the exhaustion of the previous days, did not hesitate to talk with us for a while and take photos. He told Jay jamirolive what is and what is jamiropedia and we told everyone that we would be in the Rock In Rio, who worship the group and also gave thanks for two great concerts they had made.
Then I called Rafa (jamirolive webmaster) to tell. He had been in Gran Canaria with a friend and Sunday are going to Madrid.
After five hours Rafa call me back from Madrid airport (where he was to catch a flight to his hometown) and I said "lola Do not know to whom I am at the airport?" All Jamiroquai bandmembers! We had delayed the flight until 10 pm and rafa spent three hours with them talking to each other and making magic to Hazel and Lorraine (the photos are on the links).

But there are more… At night my husband and I went to dinner at a restaurant near the hotel. At five minutes to see that Jay is sit at a table having dinner with some companions!
We could not believe it and besides ... while there were randomly placed in the background music "Do not Give Hate A Chance". Jay looked to the sky when they heard his song. Do was living a “momento jami”? (He did not say anything because we believe that this was their private time).
It was incredible. So many coincidences have zero probability of occurring but occurred!

VERY NICE!!! what a story
& i think they knew they where there in the restaurant so they played the song DGHAC,..... and it's quite nice you didn't interupt them, as you said, it was there "private time" i agree with that totally tnx for the news

I second what Jay_F has just written!!! Amazing story!! And Rafa is also such a lucky man!!  Both flights were delayed... that must be destiny!!
