NUDE CONTINUUM IS THE WINNER!!! I am so happy and proud to announce that our friends NUDE CONTINUUM have won the Tobit bandcontest!! Just got the confirmation from Tobit directly!! Nude continuum has been chosen as best band and will be support act for Jamiroquai on the mainstage in Ahaus, 16th August 2008!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS!!! (..and for us...hehehe!!!) FANTASTIC!!!! There was no competition!! I will get to see them after all as i couldn't make London next week isn't Derrick gonna be a bit knackered!! im sure he wont play both - or maybe guest on a couple of tracks? _________________

Über den Kontakt zum Drummer von Jamiroquai, haben die australischen Musiker vom einzigen Auftritt der britischen Band in Deutschland erfahren. Der Profimusiker hatte als virtuelles Bandmitglied per Internet das Schlagzeug für das erste Album von Nude Contiuum gespielt. Da die Band für August eine Tour durch die Clubs in London und Amsterdam geplant hatten, war für Nude Continuum klar, dass dieser große Auftritt im Münsterland das absolute Tour-Highlight werden könnte. Und tatsächlich: Ihr großer Traum, einmal gemeinsam mit Jamiroquai auf der Bühne zu stehen und ihren virtuellen Drummer auch live zu treffen, geht jetzt wirklich in Erfüllung. Denn Nude Continuum sind die Gewinner im Bandwettbewerb und treten auf der Hauptbühne des Tobit.NightClubbings auf.
"Wir hatten auch in diesem Jahr wieder 154 Bewerbungen von Nachwuchsbands für das NightClubbing Festival" so Dieter van Acken, Pressesprecher Tobit.Software. "Es waren viele sehr gute Bands der unterschiedlichsten Musikrichtungen dabei, aber wir mussten uns am Ende für einen Gewinner entscheiden. Absolut überzeugt hat "Nude Continuum". Mit ihrem Musikstil aus Jazz und Funk passen sie perfekt in die musikalische Richtung des Headliners Jamiroquai."
Sieben weitere Nachwuchsbands bekommen die Chance für einen Auftritt auf einem der größten Open Air Festival in NRW. Auf der V+ Bühne spielen am 16. August die Bands "The Jacks" aus Emsdetten, "Dreist" aus Wunstorf, "Dainty" aus Klingenthal, "Mellow Drive" aus Meppen, "Indoor" aus Bersenbrück, "The Mint" aus Berlin und "Fine Filter 50" aus Duderstadt.
Das Tobit NightClubbing
Mit dem Tobit NightClubbing 2008 findet am 16. August 2008 das 11. Musikfestival von Tobit.Software statt. Als Open-Air-Festival hat das NightClubbing mit Künstlern wie Joe Cocker, James Brown, Toto, den fantastischen Vier, Grace Jones, Boney M ... Musikgeschichte geschrieben. In 2008 werden mit Jamiroquai die Mega Stars der Acid-Jazz-Szene als musikalisches Highlight auf der Bühne stehen.
