A ducht Trumpet player is going to record with Jamioquai.
This news was presented at the North Sea Jazz Festival.

http://www.ad.nl/binnenland/2443095/Jamiroquai_doet_duet_met_Nederlands_trompettalent.html?service=video

Just Listened to the clip that is also on this site.

Rik Mol, tells that he is going to record HIS second album with Jamiroquai.
He often played in London, and met the "guys".
He only mentioned Derricks name, but he does say that they are amazing and he is looking forward working with them.
They have an amazing sence of rythem.

The news was not supposed to leak, but it is out now
Who they are????? At least Derrick.

I love Rik Mol's music.

I don't know anything about this, but when talking about his new recording on MySpace, he did say, "There are also recordings planned in London with some of the finest pop-musicians of that city."

Snooping around, I found this : http://god-made-me-funky.hyves.nl/forum/1717438/unvv/Jamiroquai_Bootlegs/

He references fans to the Jamiroquai Bootleg Vault by Simon on the SZ site, so obviously Rik is a fan. Wink
