Escalation and violence in Georgia
I don't wanna discuss the political situation, I am just worried about our friends and their families from Georgia. Everything alright with Funkiroquai, Pepela and others?
Sending much love

The good people of Georgia are in my thoughts.
I hope this senseless violence ends soon.
Sending love.

Thanks Jamily for your support, really appreciated.
We are tired for all this political wars, fights and etc. We (like every civilized people) want peace and friendship, but sometimes it's not understandable for big countries like Russian Federation. ...and you know what's rediculous in this conflict? This war is between/among two or three man, not Georgia vs. Russia. Ekaterine (pepela) can tell you what's the attitude among rest of the people - it's kind, friendly, full of love... I would say, it's exemplary.
Some days ago, in Georgia, Russian poets and ours had special night, were they read some poetries - Georgian in Russian and on the contrary and it was dedicate to Goergia-Russian attitude to each other, that they had nothing to be divided
...and the history above is drop in the ocean we had to each other, but now new generation only sees war, envy, enemity, hostility, animosity, violence and all those bad things and after for all this I have a question - What they can have in their hearts when they grow up? here is the answer - nothing but the words which I've said. It's a pitty, but it's reality
For now there is no more shooting, 'cos both sides are waiting for decision. Today 5 country's presidents are going to visit our country - France, Ukraine, Litva, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and two countries Prime Ministers (don't remember exactly). Once they have mentiond that if Russian Federation doesn't stop this war, it'll become risky not for Georgian people only, but for the whole Europe. President Bush said in his words that if Russia doesn't stop, they have political and economical levers.
..and for now, we are waiting how it'll last. This convesations will have to end in 2 days and then we'll see what the results will be.
May God wish to end this conflict in peace and thanks once again to Jamily. Sending you love and peace from Georgia _________________

Some friends of mine had the honour and the privilege of travelling to this fantastic country on the black sea and they told me that the Georgians are considered as one of the most hospitable people they have encountered.
I do observe and im very worried about this battle between Russia and georgia and actually, perhaps, georgia finds itself in the greatest need in its recent history. Its such a shame that this new democratic country has been punished for its pro-West orientation and its bid to join the Nato organization.
I pray that this conflict will be peacefully resolved, for the ppl and for the leaders of both countries. _________________

so good to hear back from you funkiroquai! I believe what you say is the truth. I read once "if everyone listened to jamiroquai there would be no wars" and i choose to believe in that sayin too. I hope all the best so there is peace in your country _________________
