American Late Night jibes toward Jamiroquai
Hello everyone :bm_r:
We got another mini-snowstorm here in the States, but just a little winter tripe, just freezing rain and a inch of the smooshy white stuff. In a darker note, I've noticed a increase on the Jamiroquai jokes dispensed by American Late Night Shows. The first joke was a bit done by Conan O'Brien (NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien"), where their announcer was naming off embarrassing things that Conan had done with celebs invited on the show, the joke was, "Also a long night spa bath with Jamiroquai!". The second joke came last night on CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn", Craig was doing a bit called "Local TV Press Conference" where he answers various questions from his writers dressed up like reporters from the local affiliates. The second question asked was, "Craig, isn't it true that Saddam Hussein was a guest on the show?", Craig answered with I quote, "Well, yes and no, he was originally a guest back in 97', but we had to bump him for Jamiroquai, but heh, it was 97' and it was Jamiroquai's world, next question..." I just thought it would be amusing to share these jokes, good to see some in the business have forgotten them. Thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse and Bear! Peace and take care!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
Those two bags of Late Night Mixed Nuts!!!!

THE RETURN OF THE LONG NEGLECTED THOUGHT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let the truth be said: Conan hasn't been since Andy left,
Conan IS ONLY FUNNY when Triumph the Insult Dog is on the show!
Craig Kilborn, the more amusing of the two, but I'm starting to
get hooked on Jimmy Kimmel, yeah, the idea of a ABC Late Night
talk show is a flaw, but at least they make asses of themselves!

P.S. More pictures of JK out and about are in the process of being added to the new page on my site of JK at Stars In London, so look out for them at http://www.geocities.com/jamirofan2000/brits2003.html |

Thanks for the jokes, Jamirofan! I'm feeling you on the snow (it's about time for spring here in Virginia, eh?)
Jamiroquai was supposed to perform on Jay Leno on September 12, 2001, but that gig got cancelled because of the terrorist attacks. I'm glad to hear some of those people haven't forgotten the band, and hopefully we'll see some appearance on American TV after album 6 is released! (maybe even some music videos on MTV or VH1, I hope, I hope).
Cheers. |

I've heard that the band will definitely be going to the US to tour the next album. Fingers crossed they get over there, I may have an excuse to visit the States then myself!! |
