i did yes and most other bits while i was at the scrapyard
i didn't have time to get the wheels off though as that would have made the insurance void. _________________

Great cars here! After a stressful week looking at lots of cars I have placed an order for my new Hyundai i10 in blue. It's on the boat being shipped over now and should be here in mid September (I hope!), I'll post some pics when it arrives. I was looking at a 3 year old Fiesta at £6,000 but can get a brand new Hyundai with all the same features and more for around the same price, so it's not an Audi TT in the looks department but really good value for money.
I've had my current old S reg Corsa for 4 years now, I learnt to drive in it and have become really attached to it but it's not reliable anymore. I'm still finding it really hard to let it go and become scrap - I do wish I wasn't so sentimental with things like this! Is it just me that feels like this or have any of you had similar experiences?
I'm also on the hunt for those groovy stickers, I can't find any on eBay? |

i know what you mean Katy - it's a nightmare as their are so many out there to choose from. Did you use the scrappage deal
i got the stickers from here:
http://www.decalsplanet.com/index.php?section=search&id=5378
they are in the U.S but very quick on delivery
there were also some on ebay.com too and it may even be the same company. I advise you also to get reversible if you are sticking on the inside of the windows. _________________

I'm thinking about going black too.
They look really good all clean and shiny, but... do you guys find you're constantly washing them to keep them that way? I mean, they get dirty real easy right? _________________

Yeaaah come on Andrew, join the BDC club!!!
I got it for 1 month now.. and I haven't washed it yet..
I should soon coz it starts to be a bit dirty.. but I thought I'd have to clean it before!!
After.. it depends where you go with your car! Ahha
But I don't think it gets more dirty than an other color! _________________

ooh very nice - i test drove one before deciding on the KA. Boot was a little bit small for me great mpg though and cheapest car tax bracket.
i think all these small cars are virtually the same now anyways - built in the same factory etc and mine is the same as a fiat 500 but with a different shell.
My "Jamiro-KA" by Ford complete with THE sticker to match the paintwork and i have some more but not sure where to strategically place them yet I also couldn't really wait 4 months for it in 'disco' black so i opted for 'strobe' grey and received it in June.

Do you have a red devil vespa? I don't need to ride nothing actually but If it is to ride something then I ride my grey/yellow devil train! _________________ GIGGLES! |

Nice! *how old are you anyways?* I might be riding my black devil micro-car in quite a short time! Or I will just wait...and buy a proper car and not one of those cans they keep calling cars. _________________ GIGGLES! |
