NEW MUSIC: The Magistrates
 Hello,
 Discovered these British lads via Google Blogsearch and read further about them in current November issue of Spin (Dang, have they turned this music magazine around or what! Nice to see SOMEONE in the states covering the indie scene for a change!) . Overall their first demo is pretty awesome, very much funk/Marvin Gaye/Prince/Indie rock vein. Check it out at their MySpace and leave your thoughts of them, I think "Make This Work" & "Color Co Ordination" are stunning! ::

Really continue to dig this new band with every listen of their 3 track demo . I also failed to mention initially that they are currently recording their debut LP with none other than Mike Spencer, the producer whom worked on Jamiroquai's last album "Dynamite".
